An unexplainable mystery, really. I can’t think of any commonalities that might elucidate these similar occurrences.6-1 Djok in the first set at W 23
6-1 Sinner first set at IW 24
then both oddly forgot how to play tennis. Interesting!
Sinner didn’t look like himself in that third. I expect him to bounce back in MiamiAn unexplainable mystery, really. I can’t think of any commonalities that might elucidate these similar occurrences.
Seriously, what bizarre comments about his mental fragility, Cahill needing to be fired etc.
Can't we just enjoy this rivalry withoutThe cart trip was right up there with a slow motion tooth extraction.just disappointed it was over so quickly.I like watching the cart ride more than the match.
Making you pick up poo is not charisma. My dog has more charisma than Djoko.
phuck. I'm going to sleep.

Some of TTWs greatest match analyses have come from posters that have not seen a single point of the match they are analyzing.Could not see the match but I have written before that IW was likely Charlie's best hardcourt surface vs Jannik.
So Sinner lost twice in so many months, against the legend Novak in his favourite condition and legend-to-be under his...
Congrats to Alcaraz!
Alcaraz has way more options how to play. Sinner is one dimensional. Alcaraz should have won the last two slams but got too over confident. Today he knuckled down after the 1st set and once he did he made sinner look one dimensional. Not exactly the same, lol. Wimbledon final was close until the last point. Djokovic made some UE on key points but it was a quality match overall.
I don't know what happened to Sinner today but the match wasn't close at all in sets 2 and 3. Totally one-sided and he turned into a UE machine.

Vamos is moral #1…
ALcaraz is the rightful no.1…
You should analyze it before watching. And then again after. See how they correlate and which is the superior analysis. Not analyzing mate, just thinking again about the conditions. Will do so duly after watchin it later for early breakfast.
…Still want to know why he and Tiafoe went their separate ways.
He played Djokovic 2017 level today. His AO level was Djokovic 2012/13 level
alcaraz is just too short. He’s too easily overpowered. He ain’t gonna grow. So he’s screwed unless he avoids sinner
I see why Djokovic is skipping Miami. An in-form Sinner is becoming unbeatable.
sinner just had to fix his serve. He did that. That dude is gonna mop up more titles than the big 3 unless a real opponent comes along like Nadal did for Fed or Djoker did for Nadal. He may leave the big 3 in the dust unless 2-3 guys step up or he gets injured
Sinner in God-mode
This is quickly turning into a Federer/roddick “rivalry”
The sinner era in full swing and it’s going to be a great ride watching this guy breaks lots of records. He’s a great player and has a cool calm aura about him as well.
Just tuning in. WTF is this garbage? Thanks for nothing Carlos
2024 Sinner > 2011 Djokovic
Djokovic is GOAT and a phenomenal champion but he has no charisma. Being a star is utterly different than having charisma, that's what I said.
If anybody of the Big 3 lack charisma its the Pulover Man.Djokovic is GOAT and a phenomenal champion but he has no charisma. Being a star is utterly different than having charisma, that's what I said.
Receipt galore. Beautiful (though some there like NYTennis are Carlos fans who were just sad).
Some did stick around only to diligently take credits away from Alcaraz. It appears TTW posters who were writing the obituary for Alcaraz have officially left the thread.
Spot on!That was a great match. We have a heavyweight rivalry, folks.
Fair-weather fans, turn on their player when the going gets tough.Receipt galore. Beautiful (though some there like NYTennis are Carlos fans who were just sad).
To me It was one of the worse matches between them, they didnt really get to play good at the same time, sinner didnt give options to Alcaraz in the first also because alcaraz level wasnt as high, then in the second alcaraz changed tactics and upped the level, and in the 3rd Alcaraz kept a pretty consistent level and sinner was more erratic and started to feel the body, but apart from some nice high level points, the overall level of the match didnt feel very high to me, but then i guess they have spoiled us, not every match can be electrifying, there are many factors, conditions of the court, rain delay, physical state of players, etc, the best news from the match is that alcaraz is gonna get confident and we gonna have a fight between these two all year long, lets see if he can win the title today.Hey all, I missed the whole game, it got too late for me. Does anybody know where I could read a good analysis of how it played out? It must have been wild!
I see. Also, sounds like Sinner's serve got pretty poor after the first set? I watched until the rain and until that point it had been solid. What tactic did Carlos employ that worked? To me It was one of the worse matches between them, they didnt really get to play good at the same time, sinner didnt give options to Alcaraz in the first also because alcaraz level wasnt as high, then in the second alcaraz changed tactics and upped the level, and in the 3rd Alcaraz kept a pretty consistent level and sinner was more erratic and started to feel the body, but apart from some nice high level points, the overall level of the match didnt feel very high to me, but then i guess they have spoiled us, not every match can be electrifying, there are many factors, conditions of the court, rain delay, physical state of players, etc, the best news from the match is that alcaraz is gonna get confident and we gonna have a fight between these two all year long, lets see if he can win the title today.
Sinner just couldnt keep a super serving level for so long, then in the 3rd he hurt his wrist a bit and his serve got even worse, Carlos change in the second set was exactly what he had to do, not feeding pace to sinner, use his variety, that forced sinner to Risk more, i see more players using that tactic against sinner, once youre the most in form player, you get chased more than you chase, thats part of tennis and the reason why its difficult to keep winning and winning, players figure out how to hurt you, you are forced to keep improving to keep winning, no high level is high enough for that, its about adapting until you retireI see. Sure thing.alcaraz is just too short. He’s too easily overpowered. He ain’t gonna grow. So he’s screwed unless he avoids sinner
Lol Human stupidity at its finestSure thing.
Always a good day to see Sampras-Bruguera get wrecked.Sure thing.
Whoooo! hoooo! He’s back!!!!Welcome back to tennis, Carlos!! Well played against a brilliant Sinner in the first hour. Go out and win the tournament tomorrow. @Rattie --wish you were awake to see this.
Very well put.Sinner just couldnt keep a super serving level for so long, then in the 3rd he hurt his wrist a bit and his serve got even worse, Carlos change in the second set was exactly what he had to do, not feeding pace to sinner, use his variety, that forced sinner to Risk more, i see more players using that tactic against sinner, once youre the most in form player, you get chased more than you chase, thats part of tennis and the reason why its difficult to keep winning and winning, players figure out how to hurt you, you are forced to keep improving to keep winning, no high level is high enough for that, its about adapting until you retire
I don't know your dog, but you're probably right! My dog has more charisma than Djoko.
No, he Will have a hewiit like Career, he is just too shortThe way Alcaraz started hitting winners reminded me of last year. He simply took the match out of Sinner’s racquet just like he did to Djokovic last year at Wimbledon too.
Alcaraz showed me an alpha level of performance. He heard me and it was very impressive considering how well dinner has been playing and played.
Carlos showed us that form is temporary and class is permanent. I think both Carlos and Sinner are going to win a lot and we can’t write either guy if they go through a bad slump of form. They both quality players. Great match!
