INDOOR non-mark shoes for OUTDOOR hard courts?

Like to get advice from the group here.

I made a wrong tennis shoe purchase without checking the fine prints and pictures.
The shoes are non-marking and are intended for indoor tennis courts (please see outsole picture below).

Can I use the shoes for outdoor tennis hard courts? How long will it last on hard courts :>?

should be ok for outdoor, its just that they will most likely wear out faster on a outdoor hardcourt, but that depends
more on how you play and your court movement. ie if you play doubles and basically dont move much, it shouldnt matter, but if you
run all over the place or play singles, you might see faster wear.
if they are in good condition, you can sell them on the TW forsale or Craigslist.

Yeah so these are carpet tennis shoes made for obviously, carpet surfaces. If there aren't any carpet surfaces near you, I suggest just reselling them somewhere and just grabbing a pair for outdoor play on hard.

thats unusual to play on carpet. i thought most courts were either hardcourt or clay. there are grass courts, but like you have to be playing in UK or at a resort to play on grass.
not sure how well carpet shoes hold up on hardcourts

I don't think it would hold well on hard courts as carpet courts are a lot more forgiving plus since it's a smooth outsole, you don't need as much grip on carpet. In contrast, a smooth outsole on a hard or clay would not go well considering you probably won't get as much traction as a shoe with a herringbone outsole for example.

Carpet is very very unusual these days outside of Europe. I can't think of any carpet courts anywhere in Southern United States.
