well it didn't happen to me but my cousin. we decided to play about 3 1/2 hours ago(approximately 10:30 when i got off work) and we were playing fine. only ones out there, lights on sorta windy, heck wind picked up fast. we were playing a set i hit a forehand crosscourt, wind picked it up my cousin ran more than he needed too, tripped over his foot and fell very badly with his head ending up running into the pole of the fence. he sat up after falling and i came over to help/look. his had a few cuts(some up to 2-3 inches long due to the windbreakers that his head ran up against) but with bad luck hit it the pole that holds the fencing together and a somewhat large bump is now there right above his eyebrow. the top right part of his forehead is swollen and we took him to a urgent care center to look. they basically did nothing but look at it give him an icebag told him they don't feel comfortable working on him cause they are a 'pediatrics center'(he is 22) and said they'd have to transfer him to another hospital. though it looks bad, with no vomiting or nausea, it may not be as bad as we think. he is now at my house and we are cleaning him up and getting him some good rest. hopefully he gets better.

this is not necessarily a rant but an explanation, and advice to be careful

the more ranting part is that the stupid 'doctors' were basically stupid. they didn't give my cousin an exact answer of what he needed to do or what not. he just sorta hinted at something and walked out. i hate people like that.

That doesn't sound too good. I hope he feels better soon, hopefully it's not too serious.

I was at the courts last week and then we went to play basketball...things got bad.

One of my friends grabbed the rim (first time for him)...swung forward and then back because he was inexperienced. He let go on the backswing and had to brace himself, which he used his arm to do.

Wasn't broken through the skin or anything, but it looked B-A-D. Ended up he sheared his growth plate off of his radius and broke the tip of his ulna off.

yea luckily he is recovering fast. the swelling is almost all gone and mainly there are just scars left though which cover the right half of his forehead. good thing he didn't break anything though and hopefully nothing we know of. im not sure if hes still getting an x-ray but he went home today and so thats how it goes
