Injuries will destroy Nadal; YEAH RIGHT!!!

Whenever Nadal had problems with his knees, many tennis experts were quick to say that his career was over because his body would not be able to hold on. However, Nadal always proved them wrong by coming back with an interest. What's more, Nadal is not using knee straps anymore. I think that Nadal will have a long career and he might even win more grand slams than Roger.

He needs to start tanking MS and focus on slams. There's no point in playing events like cincinnati, paris...

Fed style, that's not like true #1 should play imo. I think that lack of effort even worsen his game and confidence in slams.

Nadal won 8 GS. Injury player woudn't have won this much. I don't believe in any of his injury when he's consistently staying at the top 1 or 2 ranking since 2005. Players that actually effected by injuries are Haas or Guga b/c they underchieved. Rafa by no mean underachieved.

Hey moron, how does that factor into Roger Federer's BS?

i hope the OP realizes that the hardcourt season is about to start. lets see how long before nadal starts to moan about his knees. he only started winning once he hit the clay which is alot more favorable to his knees and wimbledon which is two weeks.

Jesus eff-ing Christ. When do you EVER see this many stupid hype threads after Fed winning a grand slam?! What's the age of the typical Nadal fan? 13?

Open your eyes and watch tennis fanboy. Nadal claiming injury coming from his arm and leg against PP. Then all the sudden he play insane tennis all the way through the final. Was it a miracle that his body recovered 100%? Was there a miracle for Fed during the 2008 AO? Didn't think so.

Now close your mouth!

I doubt he has ever been "injured". tired towards the end of the year, Yes.

Most of them are coming from the Her Majesty, Mun. I count several in both the general pro and pro match results. He seems to exceed himself everytime.

To address your point, Nadal's resurgence this year does not convince me in any way he won't be injured again in the future. What does give me hope that it has a smaller chance of happening, though, is his recent implementation of a more aggressive, attacking game that will reduce the amount of running he does in matches.

More like 10 is my guess.
Not quite.

The average age of Nadal fans as a whole (not necessarily on this forum) is actually high because of his popularity among older women (40+ age range). That's certainly the case in Europe, not sure about elsewhere
.

OP- lest you forget, the Federer lovers also told us that Nadal had wrecked his career & his knees ... chasing Federer! And here he is, back at No. 1! ROFL!

i dont really believe the nadal knee injury flim flam. i believe they are both very strong, they don't need tape or support, it's a scheme cooked up by uncle toni to divert attention from other things, a smokescreen so to speak.

if nadal's knees hurt why did he play even better after the timeout vs. Petzchner? why didn't he tape the knee all year? if you can bluff em you can beat em.
