Fed also did not do a lot in his early days like djoker did, so his win counts in those was not a lot. You then would still need for Djoker to play to Feds current age. Maybe he will, maybe he won't. We will see.

If THAT doesn't matter, then here is another fun fact! For Djokovic first 3 seasons of his career were also not so big on match victories...his first masters title came at 2007 and his first grand slam final reached by the end of it! LOL This argument works both ways pal...
Not only that, but he (Federer!) had way better headstart by winning 12 grand slams out of 18 before Djokovic won his first in 2008! Then came his first career slump where he wouldn't win ANY of grand slams for the next 11 grand slams played! During that period Federer added another 4...or that also isn't convincing enough?? All things considered with how much his level post 2010 and before was different its a big wonder he even sits at AS many GS matches won as he does now! How many matches he would have won now if he played the way he does now ever since 2011 starting from 2008??! How many MORE he would have won on top of all that if second career slump in 2016, that lasted two full years didn't happen?! Thats right...way way way more! That is kind of a point!

Yeah of course he is, except all fed has to do is make it to the second round for 4 years and Djoker could not lose a slam match for 4 years and he still would not lead them all.
True, but I expect Federer will be retired by then. I think the match wins all depend on how long Djokovic plays.

Woah, chill buddy. I don't care what djoker does with this stat. But if Fed stopped playing today, Djoker would have to win the next four years plus without losing a match at a slam (till he is 37).

Man, he's got that many less matches but has been able to sustain a 9-5 H2H match record in those specific slams against Federer? Pretty incredible.

I think that's going on right now

That kind of commentary is just hilarious! Truly, what is he doing now? Djokovic has only won 4 of the last 5 majors! He's been snagging them like this in chunks all decade! What's the surprise if he actually does get within sniffing distance of the "major record?" I certainly won't be one of them!  ;) :)

Is he not already in sniffing distance?
