Age and surface will always be important factors on deciding H2Hs.
Age is obvious - with age comes natural decline, so if a player plays on for a long time, he'll surely end up with some negative H2H counts.
And so is surface. Not too many players around being capable of making the finals on each and every surface.

This thread is just to explain to some of you out there who still doesn’t understand that h2h record can be SKEWED. Every players has their own favorite and worst surface. If you keep on playing the same player mostly on their best surface, then you’ll likely to have a losing record. That’s why h2h records between players are insignificant, but overall accomplishments is the true measurement of greatness.

You guys should thank JennyS for all of her valuable effort in teaching you. Consider it as a Christmas gift!!!
