Interesting stringing job - string diagonally

Hi Everyone,

At one time, - only once so far - I saw an old guy playing a Doubles Tour using a racquet that is strung diagonally!! Yes, that's right! I am just curious: has anyone else seen this type of stringing job? What are the pros and cons of this stringing job? Can one string any racquets this way? How would you do that? Is there a place where I can find the instructions on how to do this kind of stringing job?

was it a powerangle racquet? that is the only brand I know of with diagonal pattern.

Look on this website for Power Angle racquets.

They are strung that way. The intent is to help prevent tennis elbow in some way.

I seriously doubt you can string just ANY racquet that way. The Power Angle racqusts are designed with their strings on an angle.
