Got partial and not complete review for Tour Sniper and Alpha.
Disclaimer: got a new Angell TC 100 v3 late last year and I strung it with Tour Sniper
Tour Sniper: Didn't get enough play time to thoroughly test this one for multiple instances. But initially didn't work well for me, coming from Pure Aero Tour (2016) using RS Lyon string then test this new string with my new TC 100 v3, so a lot of adjustment and up to now I'm just starting to get the hang of TC 100 v3. Low powered, launch angle is medium-low but predictable power and decent spin. Too bad we got social distancing back in December and closed recreation area/park on our area because of measles, then on January eager to play and hit hard then injured my shoulder then Covid-19 lockdown came after so sadly I only got bad taste with this string (and racket )before I got the hang of it.
Alpha: We are opening up this June and we could play tennis again, re strung my dead Tour Sniper, shoulder is good and got really rusty but once I got the hang of it, this one is more lively and powerful compared to Tour Sniper, really good combination with my TC 100v3, so far so good and spin is easier than Sniper.
I guess the PAT that is spin and power oriented needs Tour Sniper or lower powered string to tame the power, the control racket or for me which is tamed down power of TC 100v3 compared to PAT need more lively spin like Alpha. I'll play more but so far Alpha has better initial impression for me compared to Tour Sniper on my TC 100.
