Its camera is HD enough to create Brazzers level vids with the right cast.IPhone X????
Brazzers edition?
Sticking with my 7 plus. The edge to edge screen isn’t a true edge to edge screen, and the all glass design... we’ll that’s not a recipe for disaster, is it.
Just make sure your Samsung doesn't catch fire in your pant pocket.Yet another product from Apple full of unnecessary and badly-engineered innovations.
is IPhone 8 that much different than IPhone 7 ?Happy with my 7 as well
You are not cool enough to sport an iPhone.Yet another product from Apple full of unnecessary and badly-engineered innovations.
I was told if you have iPone 7 then 8 isn't that much different. but if you had 5s then 8 is like super phone. Screen quality in itself is huge upgrade.I am enjoying my 8 after 3 years with 5s. Big difference, I don’t want to see the 5s anymore.
For me 8 looks more like an IPhone than X.
Careful with constant vibrate. too much can harm the phone parts in the long run. that much vibrate isn't good for the phoneI love setting mine to vibrate, . sticking it in my drawers and auto-dialing myself non-stop via land line..

The iPhone 7s (and likely later) come with the adapter and Lightning headphones so people can use whichever they want to. I personally went Bluetooth with the iPhone 6.I find it weird when people use the iphone headphone jack connector, just get a phone with a headphone jack no?

Most major smartphone premium models are leaving out the 3.5mm analog headphone jack. Samsung is rumor that they may do that too in the upcoming S9 and Note 9! That would leave HTC as the only manufacturer other then the Chineses manufactures to still keep it.Despite the hardware some people do prefer the Apple ecosystem, but I wouldn't buy one of their phones.
If I did it would be the 6 series, which was the last with the jack.

I use my iPhone 6 for the gym as I bought a bunch of shorts that can accommodate the i6 and it's comfortable for running and the gym. I can barely fit the 7+ in those shorts and working out is clumsy with them there. My daughter gave me her old iPhone 5 and I might use that as a music player, workout log, email, chat, VOIP device in the gym - as I have lots of shorts that the iPhone 6 is too big for. The other thing about using old phones for the gym is that you don't care that much if it gets lost or damaged.I went back to the 4" size and purchased a SE 128GB model! Love the compactness and easy to fit into my jeans and able to use everywhere even at the gym. Cannot do that with my 7+!
May look at the X when it comes out with the "sim free" model later in December and grab the 256GB model $1,149. I am a gadget guy so always want the latest! I know electronics is generally a bad buy and everything. LOL! I may wait next year for the upgrade in 5G LTE however and see if a smaller 5.2" is release. Have not decided what I really want.
The Apple Watch and AirPods business alone would be a Fortune 400 business today. So their strategy with AirPods is working. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing those. I'll stick to my Jaybird X2s (I'll go to X3s when my X2s die).I’m guessing part of why they ditched the headphone jack was to make the idea of the AirPods more attractive.
That might of worked, if they weren’t so damn expensive.
I need to upgrade from a 6 that’s pretty beat up and getting slower by the day, but I’ll probably wait till after Christmas.
Yip. 6S+ paired with an Apple Watch is a combination that works really well.Still lovin' my iPhone 6s Plus
You know what? I thought the same thing too with the AirPods. The thing was the various bluetooth headsets I've tried over the years were always glitchy, and worse yet needed yet another damn cable to charge. I got the AirPods mainly because it uses the same lightning cable and the W1 connectivity chip not expecting much by way of sound. Surprisingly, they actually sound better than my West Tone's, which were pretty damn decent. The Apple Watch and AirPods business alone would be a Fortune 400 business today. Upgrade to iOS 11.1 - it fixes the iPhone (and other older models) performance problems and includes the KRACK WiFi fix (I think that it's mandatory on our corporate network now).
But the most important question is: did Heycal wait in line yesterday?
I use my Bluetooth headset more for podcasts than for music and I often use them for running and you're going to get some noise because the activity is so jarring. I've been very happy with the the Jaybird X1 and now the X2 as sound quality isn't my top priority. You know what? I thought the same thing too with the AirPods. The only W1 Bluetooth options out there are Beats [which unfortunately don't use lightning] and the AirPods. They're really really good, and a great value for the price.

Tim Cook said that the Watch/AIrpods was as big as a Fortune 400 business in the Earnings Conference Call this week implying that they're doing at least $6.7 billion in revenues on the two products this year. I haven't seen anyone with the Airpods either (live) but it appears that the Apple Watch 3 is a huge success (I see those all over the place) and that Airpods are a popular way to play music or podcasts or make phone calls without having to bring your phone. Is it really? I can’t say I’ve ever seen anybody with AirPods.
I’d actually quite like a pair myself, wired versions of headphones these days seem to be those ones that go all the way inside your ear, which I find incredibly uncomfortable and distracting.. or those Bluetooth over ear ones that get sweaty and look more suited to a DJ booth than the gym
Do the likes of Sony not have a simple version of the AirPod for £50-60? I’d definitely be interested in that.
I wouldn't be surprised if they actually shot some stuff with camera phones to cut on production costs. Its camera is HD enough to create Brazzers level vids with the right cast.
Yeah it's super annoying, I really wish I had the headphone jack. I even bought an adapter, but it really doesn't work as well. I have to max out the volume on it, and even then there are still songs that you just can't get to that loud volume to really get into it. At least I picked up a pair of Jaybirds on Amazon for pretty cheap, and then my other pair shorted out, so when I contacted the company, they sent me out a replacement set. So now I'll have two pairs, which will be nice. One pair for the house and one for work.I’m guessing part of why they ditched the headphone jack was to make the idea of the AirPods more attractive.

I envy you! I just can’t get on with the in ear headphones at all. I had a lot of problems with my ears when I was a kid so maybe it stems from bad memories. A simple bud with a regular connector I can plug in to the phone, tv, laptop etc.. is all I’m after. As you say though, not really possible if you need an adapter that’s hit and miss a lot of the timeYeah it's super annoying, I really wish I had the headphone jack. His pants is always on Fire regardless of Samsung phone. Samsung phone is far better than iphone for me. I wouldn't go back to iphone unless they make huge phone like mini tablet sizeJust make sure your Samsung doesn't catch fire in your pant pocket.
Not that it would make a difference.

When I heard about the full screen phone I was all in for the X but then I saw the notch. That is what drove me to the cheaper 8. My fingerprints work just fine.Reviewers, who are always very uncritical, are reporting that facial ID is very good but nowhere near perfect.
And how is a phone bezel-less if it has a huge and very unappealing notch where the top bezel would have been?
I’m with you! I’ve only ever had the black/space grey iPhones. I’ve always seen the white and gold versions as the female option personally. Hopefully with the darker phone being less popular, the wait for it won’t be as long.Itching to purchase the X but going be tough to get! May purchase around mid February for "sim free" model. Decide to be different and get the Space Grey 256GB model! Every is getting the white with chrome edging!
Yeah that’s what I usually use. Obviously the Lightning connector means I’m limited to just using it for the phone though, I’ll have to use something else for TV/Laptop.Can't you use the Lightning Earbuds that come with the phones?
It's actually been surprisingly easy to get (even if you didn't preorder), contrary to the alleged short-supply before the 1st quarter of next year. Apple has been delivering a good amount of stock to its retail stores, and you can actually check through the reservation/pick-up option whether they have the model you want in stock. I did not preorder, but checked early on Sat (Nov. 4), and all of my local Apple stores in SoCal had stock of everything. So I put in an order for pickup, selected my pickup window time, showed up at the store during that window, and was in-and-out in about 15 minutes with the phone in my hand. No need to wait weeks for the phone to be shipped to you. You can check the various Apple forums (e.g., macrumors... although just ignore all the petty squabbles and infighting on those boards), and you'll see many people have had success picking up the phones. YMMV though, as it could also be dependent on where you live. You don't need to be tied with a particular carrier to purchase the phone if you pay full price, and it appears many (including those on ATT or Mobile) opt to buy the Verizon phone as it's unlocked and works on CDMA+GSM, as opposed to the ATT or T-Mobile unlocked versions.Itching to purchase the X but going be tough to get!
