IPrestige paintjob: need sunglasses

Right now, I'm playing with an IPrestige XL midplus, and for performance, it matches up to my best Yonexes (RDX500, Ti80, MP Tour 5). It has nice crisp, sweep every time you hit the ball.

My main compaint is the paintjob which looks like something from a garage or industrial factory with the black/silver paint. Maybe I've been spoiled by my beautiful Yonexes, but this paintjob is really an eyesore. The LM Prestige is beautiful by comparison.

It's nice to have a racket with a paintjob that matches the performance. IPrestige plays great, but just try avoid looking at it. And the paintjob is not one that "grows" on you, but seems to look worse over time.

Sorry for being a bit petty. But.....
 
I guess beauty really is in the "eye of the beholder". Conversely, the above posters probably think the Yonex RDX500 is ugly. Yes, I've heard people say the RDX has the ugliest paintjob, so there's no accounting for taste.
 
I don't really care for the i.Prestige's paintjob either, but it's worlds ahead of the RDX, though.
 
omg i share the opinion of most of the other posters on here too.......

WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU FERRARI? lol, but really , i love the i.Prestige PJ, it completely owns the LM Prestige PJ, it has subtle contrast between the light and dark and has a matt'ish finish compared to the harsh contradiction of the Silver and Red in the LM. I would love it if my LM Prestige Mid had the PJ of an Intelligence, but its not going to happen, so i'm content with my PJ.
 
I think the i.prestige paintjob is ugly, too, especially those fake looking intellifibre stickers at the throat (I heard they peel off, too). The graphics also look very cheap to me, and the lettering looks like it was scribbled on the racquet by hand by a 5 year-old child. The whole thing just looks like low quality and low-rent to me.

What I don't understand is that a lot of people find the Dunlop HM200G and HM300G to be ugly. I think they are two of the best looking paintjobs around. Both very classy looking with high quality paintjobs and graphics. I love the look of the yellow inserts on the HM200G and the orange inserts on the HM300G. Just very clean looking racquets without too much flash nor too many graphics and wording. Both also have a very nice finish to them, too.
 
HM 200g and 300g look fantastic, I agree. I kind of agree on the i.prestige's lettering being bad, but I like the color scheme.

btw, I really don't like the rdx500 pj. To each his own I guess ;)
 
i don't care about painjobs....

you COULD paint it black. i'm sure they have it in an old thread somewhere. someone might know.

it's true too. bear with it even if you hate the pj.
 
yeah I hate it too... lm prestige has far better PJ... but best Head paintjob to date has GOT to be the Flexpoint Radical. It's sooo nice. If you really can't stand it, make your own paintjob. I'm about to turn one of my racquets white.
 
I love how the i.Prestige plays.
But I also do not like the paintjob.
I like bright colours that stand out.

I also dislike the RDX500 paintjob. I wish it were fluorescent green...seriously.
Green is my fav.
 
The i Prestige mid ....... IMO ...the best Prestige ever ....... I think it's fairly conservative in appearance compared to many of today's racquets. I like black or grey frames ........
 
Ahhh......What a good feeling it is to beat your opponents with your ugly stick! Especially when your opponent has that beautiful bright new shiney racquet. I prefer my ugly earlier iPrestige. You know, the one that says made in Austria with the super dull matte black finish and all the writings faded away.
 
The best looking, classiest graphics of all graphite-based racquet is without doubt the beautifully red Prestige Classic.

The worst thing about iPrestige`s graphics is the pitiful quality of the black paint. I speak of the earlier iPrestiges. You can scratch the paint off with your fingernail. After two weeks of simply regular use, they look like they`ve literally been to war.

People! I´m just getting my own racquets painted because I agree it´s really ugly, at least compared to the FXP design.

I bought 10 of these racquets so whoever wants a painted version, too may feel free to write a note. For the sake of uniqueness, I picked the MG radical design this time for most of them but my painter still has the fxp graphics.
