Is $650 price tag good for a SP Star Edge?

I'm selling a Silent Partner Star Edge /w AC adapter and remote for $650. It is brand new since I sent it in under warranty and haven't used the machine ever since. The price of a new Edge is $1199 +shipping and tax.

If the price for a TECHNICALLY used/depreciated machine is less than $650, I think I'd rather let my little brother use it.

Please give your honest feedback
Thanks!

Minor nit: there should not be any tax charged on a new Edge if are located in the United States.

I'd say that price is more than reasonable. If I didn't already have a machine I'd inquire about it.

What do you mean you sent it in under warranty? Did you get a brand new machine in return or did SP repair and return your original machine?

Thanks for your reply!

I sent it in under extended warranty (that I paid extra for) because of a problem with the feeder and they gave me a brand new machine.

Edit: I don't think the warranty is transferable. :/

Where are you located? In Canada? There is no shipping charge and tax in US.

I plan to buy a ball machine. If you are not far, I am interested.

Are you sure there is no shipping charged on Silent Partner machines currently? There was a shipping charge, about $50 IIRC, when I bought mine and I live in the US.

I paid no shipping. It's probably buried in the price.

Yes, it is clearly marked on their web site. Free shipping for all ball machines and 2 year warranty. Maybe a recent thing.

Good to know. I think both of those must be recent things as I paid for shipping and I believe only got a 1 year warranty when I bought my Star in February 2010.
