Of the two issues, one being legality and the other morality, the former has been addressed properly. Age of consent and the like settles it for us. But per morality issues, I have to ask: Howcome we concern ourselves with the bedrooms of teenagers? Let nature be what it is.

You know, in certain circles of ape species, the young female has a tendency to procreate with the alpha male for status and protection. And we all know that what apes do is fair game.

Oh, man, after the Serena thread, the least I could do is give some people fodder to throw back. Here we go. What do you say about a 29 year old having relation with someone who could be as young as 19 years old? A girl who works at a local store has been showed interest in me, and normally, I shrug this stuff off (because I'm with someone, or I just don't like them). However, she is real nice, and attractive. Normally, I don't date under 24, but I wonder if I shouldn't make an exception once. I also wonder if she knows how old I am, because I look younger. We might both be mislead. Anyway, blast away.

She's of age, GO FOR IT, How do you know she's 19, what makes you think she doesn't know your age? Also some chicks, actually a lot of chicks in the 18 - 30 range are attracted to older men to begin with. So go for it let her know you are 29.

Most people can't tell my age. Nobody has said over 25, yet. I laugh to myself, like, yeah, I can still date college girls. A lot of my male friends give me the look like, damn, bro, if I were you. I never really took advantage of it, though. Grad students, yes, but never undergraduates. Why I think she is 19? Because she looks young, but she has a hint of greater maturity than a High school girl, and her job doesn't suggest more than a 2nd year college student. Most high school girls seem stressed, and a little nervous, like their daily life is a pain in the ass. College age, not so much, because they have freedom. Now, that I think about it, I say 22 maximum. I could clearly see her being 20 thinking that I am like 23.

Just from the picture, you can tell that Pacheco is one of those inner city, gang banging hoodlums. I don't know if most kids just have a bad sense of judgment or something, but Kelsey should've known what she was getting into.
He's enough of a loser already if he needs gang buddies to give him security.
^ Uhh... how exactly should she have known what she was getting into?
Kids who fall into these traps do so because their parents have parenting deficiencies. To lay the blame on a 13 year old kid, and expect her to know the dangers of life when she was likely never taught about the dangers, (nor, quite obviously, was her self-esteem ever nurtured by her parents), is downright ignorant and cruel of you.

The real losers in this are the parents of the two kids - the boy's parents obviously failed in a large way... but so did the girl's parents by not arming her with the emotional/psychological tools to defend against the traps that guys like that set.

it is pretty sick, but i wonder...how many 18year olds are out dating 13year olds right now as we speak, and for teh most part they go well, ie. not end up like this
^ No - they don't 'go well' for the most part.
Just because no-one ends up dead certainly does not mean that they 'go well'.
In the majority of such circumstances, there are huge elements of all kinds of exploitation.

I have a 6 year-old daughter. If she dates an 18 YO when she's 14 I would have something to say about it. So IMO, yes. It's not that confusing is it?
^ I like the stuff that you've written in this thread...
... but if you have a daughter, it would be a very good idea for you to stop using the term 'pimp' so loosely, as if it is a harmless word.
Pimps are among the most vile, disgusting creatures on the planet - and it is tragic that the mainstream media is usung the term as if it means something that is fun and harmless.
Please teach your daughter by example.

In Canada, the legal age of consent is 14 so should we condemn a 30 year old man for getting with a 14 year old girl even if it's legal? I find that to be sicker than an 18 year old with a 13 year old. Laws are made by hypocrites and that's been the case for a long time.
^ Wrong again, Rickson. The legal age of consent in Canada was recently raised to 16 - which, for myself and a number of people, is still too young, because a 25 year old can very, very easily manipulate and exploit most 16 year olds.

^ Because, as naive teens with low self-esteem, they possess an unrealistic view of others, and of life - which renders them prime targets for those older persons who will harm them - of which there are many.

It's called caring - or having compassion.
You might want to look up the terms.

If my TTW name offends anyone, I apologise. It's just a play on "Pimp My Ride", as I was mainly looking for tennis instruction and racket help when I started posting on the forum. I'll ask admin staff to change the name to PMG if they feel it's offensive.

BTW not exactly sure if you're putting 2 and 2 together and coming to the conclusion that I use these words "loosely" around my children - but it's not the right conclusion.

I simply don't think that any 'fun' use of the word 'pimp' is appropriate anywhere, as it tends to glorify pimps and what they do.
It reduces the word 'pimp' to harmless entertainment, or 'fun'.

I have seen first hand what pimps do, and it is in no way fun at all.
The word should be used only to describe the vile things that they do.

If you have a young daughter, I would think you'd understand and agree.

TG, if you're in Pennsylvania, legal age is 16.

Yep and the girl form OP, she's 13! I had a friend who ran into a situation like this, of course he was 20 and she was 16, eventually she was pregnant and they are now married with a baby.

Reading this made me sad. I can see how the 13 year old would love the attention but an 18 year old guy referring to her as his 'fiance'? What a complete fail.

Can you think of a circumstance in which the 18 year old guy would not be a loser for dating a 13 year old?
This is allowed in many countries in the world. Some countries allow child marriages as long as the union is not consummated until the girl turns 15.

Anyway, your 18 year-old is now 34 and the girl is 29. That doesn’t really sound so bad at all.

How’s the weather up there on your exceedingly high horse? No need to be so friggin sanctimonious / deprecating. I didn’t go looking for this thread — I just happened to stumble across it while looking for something else.

Go cast yer stones elsewhere, Karen.

I mean dude, you've been a real piece of **** lately. Think I'm adding you to my iggy list, which is sad because you've been a poster in the past I enjoyed from time to time, but no mas. You need some serious professional help. And not that once a week for 80 bucks **** either. You need to get involved at the University level, and have a team of people checking in on you, because that's the only way you'll get better.

Wow!

Who needs professional help? Your post here is rather ironic. My post was retaliatory, perhaps a bit harsh, but it was pretty tame compared to the venom / hostility seen in this follow up post from you.
