Is Blake with Wilson?

You may not be aware but James played with Wilson racquets before signing with Dunlop.

I was aware........

I guess Dunlop is trying to shed some expenses with Blake going to Wilson and Berdych going to Head.

Nice photo...

VS, what type of archives do you have been able to dig up that old photo of James playing with a Wilson..that's pretty impressive!

cheers,

Racquetcraft

Thanks. I even have a photo of Edberg when he was in the juniors hitting a two handed backhand with a aluminum Rossignol Touch racquet.

he's actually playing with a paint job of the BLX. My buddy has private lesson with the same coach and asked blake himself. underneath that is a K90.

i'm sure he worked with wilson on the layup of the frames so that he is comfortable with them. he played a long time with that dunlop frame

I think Blake fits wilson better than dunlop. But whats with Dunlop losing all of its top sponsers?? The only top pro i can think of off the top of my head is Almagro...

Dunlop should sign Verdasco.........that would really boost sales! But I take it that Dunlop marketing strategy is not on that line. Hard to understand because it is a brand which had a lot of potential and cash to do it!

its a paintjob of his old dunlop frame

...which was probably a 'Tyger' frame under the Dunlop cosmetics, LOL!

Well, too bad. I'm a Blake fan. And I love the 4D Aerogel 200....or any Dunlop 200 for that matter.

They've even come out with a nice heavy 16x18 version called the 4D AG 200 TOUR. I just asumed they'd have Blake or Haas play with it. But now neither is playing with it. No big. Still a great brand.

I think he did it because of the name BLX.
Whose 90 is that?
That's BLX 90.
Whose?
BLX.
Oh, cool.

Or it could've had to do with Dunlop offering to renew without a raise, and not meeting James' agent's counteroffer. And Wilson offering a bit more.

Man, Wilson is smart. Blake may be on the decline, but he's perfect for Wilson. They ought to be proud of this signing.

Between Serena, Roger, Del Potro and Blake, they're covering a LOT of angles, including the traditionalist one-hander. I love Roger and Blake, and my stance on Wilson has just now softened.

Doesn't change the fact that that paintjob looks like it was designed by committee, a zebra and an okapi.

why doesn't JB have the "W" logo on the strings? I'm pumped to see Blake getting a sponsorship this late in his career, especially since he's dropped in the rankings (Pretty significantly) But I'm a huge Blake fan, and I hope this late career move helps him. He's got a new coach, new clothing line (new-ish) and a new racquet sponsor.....he's READY TO ROCK!!!!

I'm so so pumped for JB in 2010, lets kick some ass!

^Re^: Rabbit's assumption that if it's red, it's a Dunlop 300 Tour. When I read that....right before I saw the photo...I was thinking, ''yeah, thanks Rabbit, that's gotta be a 300 Tour''. No such luck. BlakesBLX it is.

Sick roddick polo
Hhahaha, I didn't even notice the polo...not really what I like, anyway.
My eyes just went straight from JB's frame to Roddick's shoes. Very cool. Hoping the white version has some color to it. I will get one of each the moment they are available.

makes sense i didn't like blake with dunlop
he looks alot better now with wilson
he'll prob win a 250 tournament this year

Just thought of the fact that Wilson lost one smooth bi-racial brotha to Babolat, so they had to get anotha (JB) to fill Tsonga's large shoes.

Good luck to James.
Allez Tsonga.

Hopefully Dunlop will do well, though it is a blow to lose Haas and Blake.

Robredo and Almagro to fly the one handed Flying D.

The head on Blakes racquet looks much smaller than Roddicks. Is that the 90 or 95 BOLLOCKS.

Dunlop makes such great sticks. I hope they keep at it regardless of sponsorships because they are still fairly large players in Tennis between Balls, sticks and apparrell.

He is playing with a Wilson in Brisbane

He is playing doubles with Roddick and is playing with the wilson. Interesting.

It would be cool if the switch to Wilson BOLLOCKS took him into the top 5. Then many players would follow suit and play with the BOLLOCKS tour of course.
