Is Federer a dead man walking when he faces Nadal at a slam?

Really even for Fed's first 7 slams? Nadal was not a factor in Hardcourt or Wimbledon until 2007.

Nadal is 5 years younger than Fed. Why do you expect him to be making slam finals on his worst surface before he was even 20 years old? Fed sure didn't make any finals on his worst surface at that age. He didn't manage to make a final at RG until 2006 when he was nearing 25 years old.

Yep its only 8-2 (and 5 straight) at slams, and 2-0 at hardcourt slams.....but Nadal is only just getting started, so be patient.

You do know that Federer's wins against Nadal won't be erased? How is Nadal going to end up with a 28-0 h2h record? Go back in time?

I shudder to think at what the end H2H will be between these two. Actually, I don't shudder, I eagerly anticipate. 6-0 at hard-court slams? 17-2 in the slam H2H? 36-12 in the overall H2H? If it gets any worse, Federer might have to rethink playing for his daughters' sake and call it quits (although he could turn into a Haas, who has had some limited success).

Poor *******s, trying to hold on to everything they can now that's their hero has beeen suspended for the 2nd time in his career while Fed continues to do pretty well for his age and form.

Nadal leads Djokovic 19-14 head2head (and Nadal won the last 3 meetings) and 6-3 head2head at slams (and Nadal won the last meeting). And in addition to this, Djokovic isn't even close in career achievements.

Yes Fed is resigned to his fate and accepts his execution like a man. How does he go back home to Mirka afterwards I do not know.

But the Shadow knows!
