Is Federer the fittest athlete ever?

if he were, then the AO organizers should have left the roof open as they did in the women's final when it was hotter.
Not sure how 31 degrees is hotter than 38 (and with higher humidity) but I guess they teach different things where you went to school.

Saturday in Melbourne was a standard, relatively comfortable night. Sunday was hot af, even past 10pm is was in the region of 36 degrees.

the men's final was not even close to being the hottest day of the tournament, and you know it.

If you base it simply on the appearance of their bodies, there's no question who looked fitter, though Djokovic looks like a Scarecrow these days. His muscle mass has declined to a significant degree.
Wrong wrong and wrong. I stand with Judy Murray in declaring Feli Lopez the fittest athlete.

Appearance doesn't necessarily means fitness. There are many gym bunnies who look even better but aren't nearly as fit as pros.

+1

Lopez may not have the best success all year round, but there is no doubt in my eyes he is the absolute fittest man on Tour.

He is about Federers age, is 100% ripped, and has literally never had a significant injury in his career - a fact he has even mentioned in a recent interview.

P.s. that is based on my definiton of Fitness which includes factors such as physicality, longevity on the court, apperance, and resistance to injury.

And it is not like Lopez has an easy game style either, the man's game is 50% volley based so it involves a lot of running and jumping.
