Status/money are only important IF you want to get married. Dating analysis also show just one side of the coin. Women will more likely date hot guys in their youth and 20s and then settle for financial security once they get married, which is probably one of the reasons why divorce rates are so high around the world. Women marry financially solid or wealthy men only to find out they are not actually attracted to them at all. So in the end of the day I would rather be handsome and poor and enjoy various hook ups than being viewed as a provider type of guy who is a good catch, once women want to settle down.
Completely agree.

Never was a big fan of Berdych; totally underachieving with his abilities, but he's a looker! On par with David Ferrer, they both couldn't do $#!t with the Big 3!

@HetTheGreaterer Dimi is not my type, I don't find him facially attractive. He's obviously fit and has a good bod, I can appreciate that, but he's just not my type at all. I can appreciate that other women would like his looks, he's far from ugly. Maybe it's because I remember him coming up and just thinking he was "meh" back then. He has improved in looks since this time:

To me, Fabio is about 200 trillion times better looking, but taste varies from person to person. ;)

I agree here. I am no Berdych fan, but it's hard to make the argument than Dimitrov is better looking than Berdych. I just don't see Dimi as particularly attractive (though cute), Berdych is male model material by any definition, he is classically chiseled and handsome.

Gigs is still young but hasn't aged well in his short life! He did look cute 5-6 years ago but now is like
common 40yo Arabs where his nose has turned more hooky, hair receding, greying and eyes are beady

Fognini and Berrettini are far and beyond the best looking players in the circuit.I think Dimitrov is someone
who you would not look twice if you saw him on the street.

I have to agree and I look at just about anything young! He's just not that special anymore! Maybe Maria burned him out!

To be fair JMG didn't have the stresses of constant travel, melatonin disruptions and the sun ruining your skin

Fed without all the hair color and coverup would be a true view of what the tour does to most after years of toiling as marathon men
in the homogenized baseline era. Someone like Borg and Macca still managed to look good through time vs say Lendl and Ferreira.

There are no arguments here really, it's a matter of taste.

To me Berdych is not particularly good looking. His eyes have no expression, the angles of his jawline are too sharp and chin too prominent for his narrow face(bit of a robot-like face shape), his lips often look like a short flat line giving his face the "I'm not satisfy" expression, his eyebrows look non-existing... definitely not classically chiseled and handsome.

I prefer Dimitrov of the two, although he reminds me of a large snake :giggle:

Safin and Gulbis are what I would call very good looking.

Berdych Jawline too sharp and chin too prominent - right you prefer weak features of weedy characters with treacherous features.

Dmitrov was young for a very short time and looks nothing like that photo so you are realistic unless you use past tenses.
Gulbis and Dmitrov dont look anywhere near what they did for a few years thats just youth you seek not maturity.
Bird hasnt aged compared to the mentioned bar a few extra sun wrinkles.

Gulbis was never attractive in any stage of his life but then again if you like the non Scandinavian look
hookie nose, dopey chin, shifty eyes and pretty much the usual look of Hollywood and social media owners
thats not what these guys search for in women as most are trying to mix with Scandinavians and Asian beauties
and even super tennis DNA Black women like Serena Williams.

For almost 80 years the Nordic Scandinavian look has been related to the enemy, the strong cold types that
cause endless suffering on made believe minority groups. Therefore its no surprise you have such ridiculous
descriptions of these honest and altruistic human specimens.

I love it how people get upset even when you talk about the look of some players, which has to do with personal taste and nothing else :D

No, I don't like weak features of weedy characters with treacherous features that much, I like beautiful features.

Dimitrov was young for a very short time? What does that even mean? Do you mean he started appearing in the media at later age compared to the other players? I don't think that is the case.

I didn't say that I like the way Dimitrov looks, I said I just prefer him to Berdych. It's just my taste. And it has nothing to do with age, I actually don't like baby-face look. Dimitrov and Gulbis look fine today btw, you can always find less flattering pictures for anyone. You can probably find pictures of Ava Gradner looking awful. There are plenty of those of Berdych online too, but it is not a nice thing to do, searching for photos of people where they look bad and posting it.

Now, the second part you wrote is very confusing.
Gulbis was never attractive in any stage of his life? Okay, that is your opinion, and a matter of your personal taste, nice of sharing it with us, but many will disagree. "Non Scandinavian look hookie nose, dopey chin, shifty eyes", these are the characteristics of "non-Scandinavian" or Gulbis has "non-Scandinavian" look and those characteristics? I don't know what "non-scandinavian" look means to you, but other features are not Gulbises - his nose is "perfect" arrow straight nose, his chin nicely shaped, gorgeous eyes and nothing wrong with the look in his eyes. The rest of the paragraph makes not much sense to me - the usual look of Hollywood and social media owners ? thats not what these guys search for in women ? which guys, what do women have to do with this?

The next paragraph is also a bit bizarre. The "Nordic Scandinavian" look is one of the most popular looks in the media in the past 80 years. From Robert Redford and Anita Ekberg, to Brad Pitt and Kim Basinger, to Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson...
And my "descriptions of these honest and altruistic human specimens"? Which specimens exactly you are talking about? I have just pointed out some things about Tomas's features. Berdych' look by the way is typical for his country, and they are Slavs(who were actually one of the main targets for the ****'s) not Scandinavian.

Who are these people and what do they and their noses have to do with the topic, and with what I have written? I know Sharapova of course, whose nose is slightly turned up(and cute btw), but what does she have to do with the topic?
I think you should read the post #176, especially the part that talks about how not only you can find non-flattering pics for everyone on the internet, but that it is not nice (nor wise) to post it. Gulbis btw doesn't even look that bad in those you have posted, even when he makes a grimace or misses his shave/hair cut appointment he looks fine, because he is pretty. And he looks normal for his age now, he is in his 30s. As for his nose, it is perfectly shaped and straight(unless he moves it of course...).

On topic: I think Dimitrov is good looking, but for his slight squinting. And I agree with the poster who said he was a mess at the US Open.

Safin for me was the best looking tennisman ever, by far. Nowadays I think this young Berrettini is not bad, so is Gulbis :D I shouldn't say it but it think Zverev is sexy, and sorry @BeatlesFan but Fognini... Where's the puke emoji? As we say in French: Tous les goûts sont dans la nature !

It's just a matter of taste not intellect, so nobody is a fool because of their aesthetic/romantic/erotic preferences. I understand why someone feels like puking when they see Fabio. I don't like him either, for my taste his eyes and smile are too shiny, his features too dolly. I will explain with an analogy - I like sweets and sweet tastes, especially chocolate, but white chocolate is just too sweat for me. :) I also understand why you could like him. Different people, different tastes, it's normal. Hell, if we all liked the same, there would be way too much competition. :D

Good god, yes. On a closer look I see that the two men are the Facebook founder and an American actor who are both Jewish I think, and then all the things written about the "Nordic" type... it is possible.

I hope we are wrong.

That maybe true for woman, but not for men models! I think some can be in demand in their mid forties! A few in their fifties.

Yes, they look better to (most of)us because the culture we live in is telling us that men with a few wrinkles and a few grays are still good looking, maybe even more handsome and sexy than those without, while women with some wrinkles and grays are just old.

The reasons women are punished more for their looks is due to the illusions and lies perpetrated on all of us thru clothing, make-up, and hair! Men don't have to go thru as much a transformation when they get up out of bed to live life! The older women get, the more it takes to keep living "that lie" which is their appearance! SORRY! :sneaky:

Djoker was taken by Jalena or whatever her name is all the way back to Djoker's teen years. They were high school bf/gf.
Sharapova has dated a lot. She seems like she'll never really settle down even after her career is done. Probably several different husbands with each relationship lasting a year or 2 at most. LOL
Sharapova has found a new love that she been going with for a couple of years now! He is like 25 years old, with a long British royal family background mean their family are $loaded$ and has high British social standing. I think they are now engaged but his family is against the marriage!
