Is it just me, or does tennis always get the short end of the stick from a company's designs?

IMO tennis shoes always manage to be the ugliest or most boring collection that a brand offers.

New Balance as an example: (Hopefully TW mods allow links for non-tennis stuff...)

Golf
Fresh Foam X Defender - New Balance

Running
Fresh Foam X 860v12 - New Balance

Basketball
TWO WXY V2 - New Balance

Soccer
442 V2 PRO SG - New Balance

and then we have tennis, which looks like the Play-Doh mashups I would make as a kid

Yes, I handpicked these, and you might not agree with these specific selections. But I feel like on the whole, soccer/golf/basketball/running shoes always look cooler. What gives?

Agreed
I thought the original Lavs were awesome looking, traditional yet a little modern. Were offered in a million colorways.
Also really liked the 996V3, the V4 isn't bad but the colorways are so limited.

Nike is the same, the shoes are becoming garish and the designs almost unwearable. Form over function, yet the form isn't even that good. Bonkers o_O

The best looking shoes are probably coming from Asics and Head. Adidas has the Uber 4, but that's it.
