Nah. I simply can't. The only reason I follow the national team's matches, it's because it's in our blood. If I'm out there shooting some hoops in my yard, and there's some match of our Seleccion Nacional, my arms keeps shooting some threes, but my legs goes running to the nearest TV, you know?

I don't even know why they call the American Football, "Football", since they barely use their feet.croatian sensation said:No. I'm just tired of "oh...you mean soccer" after I say football so I wanted to avoid that. lol
You're right.. it's football  LOL
Docalex007 said:Btw, I don't think Brazil will win it again this time around. They lack a good defence.
Peace.
I think Taffarel was one of the best goalies from Brazil, Dida is just ok, but you are right Brazil is the only team in the world that doesnt worry about defensediegaa said:Mr. Alex (or is it Dr. Alex?) Brazil ALWAYS HAD A CRAPPY DEFENSE, and almost always had a pityful goalie (not this time IMO). The sad sing for us not brazilians is that they dont needa good defense. They do just fine with ther ronaldinhos, KAKAS (in capitals), ronaldos, adrianos, robinhos, serginhos.... etc ad infinitum. Even their side defenders (i.e. cafu and roberto carlos) act as attacking midfielders and they dont even do defense stuff (be my guest and clock them on rival side in ANY game).
If u dont recall correctly JUNIOR BAHIANO has been in the squad for several years now (i think hes playing since before France98). AND he´s the worst central defender ever in the history of the game. They do care? of course not.
BUT, on the other hand, if Italy lacked a solid defense, they would be very screwed as his attacking game is horrible (not talking about righ now, but their history standars). And the same with Germany (u would remember a guy who was the star of the team back in 74, wouldnt u???)
You see doc, its all about the style.
hey man, no offense, but dont call it soccer again.donnyz89 said:Brazil is way stacked... unlike AMerican football were both team take turns attacking, with a good offense that can have hold the ball the entire game and keeps attacking, who needs a good defense? in soccer, your offense is your best defense.

FuZz_Da_AcE said:u guys want a good bet? shevchenko for golden boot, even though the ukraine might not make it past the group stage, hes the only prolific player in the squad and therefore all midfielders balls will be directed at him. of course, he is also one of the best strikers in the world, so hes no stranger to converting those oppotunities.
want another golden boot bet? luca toni - italy. u probably havnt heard of him before, yet of the five main euro leagues (england, italy, spain, france, germany), he is top scoreer out of EVERYONE playing in those league, by about 5 goals. i think he is on 30 now. check him now!
PM_ said:Here are my picks:
- Paraguay
- Ghana
- Tunisia
- with Mexico as an outside chance.
Group A is a tough one with powerhouses Poland and Equador. Either could run away with it. Should be good to watch tho.
Buzzlightyear said:BTW, from your avatar, I thought you support Brazil or Spain.
ProStaffTour90 said:is that a joke :?
FuZz_Da_AcE said:yep im pretty sure it is, but he obviously doesnt know that mexico is actually a pretty damn good team
