Is it worth buying the yonex vcore? (2023)

I dont now when the new model is coming.

But I would buy the 95 and maybe its the last 95 frame vcore.

Please let me now what you think

It came out back in 2023, the ezone is due for the next update I believe so you still have atleast a year before you see a new vcore if you’re concerned about buying an outdated model or having the price drop. What frame do you currently use?

I would not be concerned with it be the last time they make a 95, despite the 95 market and frames shrinking the vcore 95 remains to be popular and well received so I am sure they will make another one with the next update. If you want the frame I’d say go for it, but definitely demo before buying if you’re on the fence.

2023 vcore 95 is my primary racket and I love it. It is definitely not a forgiving racket so I’d demo it before buying. Even though it is 95, it plays more like 97/98. Amazing maneuverability and a weapon on serves. I do believe they will keep making the 95 as there is definitely a market for it still.

Even if a new model is released, it is not necessarily better than the current model. Yonex is famous for doing major changes with each release, unlike other brands that do minor and gradual changes. If you like the current VC95 get it and get extra because the next one may not be as good.

Fear not, I have confirmation that 8th generation Vcore will include the Vcore 95 16x20.

I just bought 2023 95 for 'collection'. Currently playing 98 tour but cant pass good deal on brand new racquet. Will try next week strung with poly at 44#
