Nadal winning this year's French Open is possibly the most foregone conclusion to have ever existed in the history of sport - look at the clay field this year! When you realize that the person with the biggest chance to stop Nadal from winning the title is David Goffin I hope that puts things in perspective.
So, with a minimum of a mere 3 Slams separating him from Federer going into Wimbledon, and the fact that Nadal is guaranteed to win at least one Slam per year until he decides to retire (whereas Federer has no such 'pet Slam') - suddenly Nadal ending with the highest Slam count of any male player in history seems more of an inevitability than a dream.
