Is Nadal the most underrated Hard Courter of all time

People underestimates slams vs Masters, 500 etc. Its not that big of a difference in terms of nervosity and ''balls''. The big difference is you play a 5 setter instead of three.

The pressure you put on yourself is the same wherever you go. Yes there is certainly that special feeling about playing in slams but a crowded stadium will always be a crowded stadium, the nervosity is the same.

I think you should give up on educating people about h2h. You're trying your best, I can see it. The simpletons will go on harping about it. You will only grow bald :p

Yeah, I guess this makes me stupid, to waste time with people like that.
That is my flaw.

If you argue with idiots they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. So, yeah, I'm the loser here. They just do the best they can, it's not their fault or anything.

What a lot of people are forgetting, including you, is that Davy and Blake are senior in age to Nadal, so it's nothing that they beat him on a court that he had not totally mastered at a young age.

Nadal lost to Davy in 2010 and 2011.

But Djokovic is worse HC player than Federer and yet Nadal has more trouble vs him at AO.

Nadal accepts that Djokovic is a better h/c player than him and no one is saying Nadal is the best h/c player but he is right up there with the rest of them. The margin is small between the top players on h/c but Nadal is the undisputed King of Clay.

Right anyone who doesn't fall in line 100 percent with JG's extreme minority and unsusal opinion is a simpleton.

He is worse. No shame in being second to the HC GOAT.

If Fed is the h/c GOAT then Nadal has an awful lot to be proud of because he leads Fed on h/c:

Hard courts: Nadal, 9–6
Outdoor: Nadal, 8–2
Indoor: Federer, 4–1

We are talking here about HC, why do you bring clay into this?

People like to pretend that clay doesn't exist. I understand.

No it's not that, but check the thread title please.

Me personally, I love clay. It takes away Pete's status compared to Federer cuz of clay.

Clay also makes Fed the ultimate goat. He is dominating four of the five main events, plus he was 2nd on clay his worst event.

Nr.1 in four main events and nr.2 in worse event = the best.

I was pointing out that Nadal is way ahead of the field on clay but right up there with the rest on h/c. If you say Fed is the 2nd best on clay, that will be a very distant 2nd, I have to say.

In other words, Nadal is so good on clay that he is underestimated on h/c.

No he is not underrated.

The thing is that the transformation of HCs has favoured nadals style of play. Its much more slower than before making it sometimes look like the players are playing on clay.

It's amazing how close Djokovic and Federer are on every surface:

Clay courts: Federer, 4–3
Hard courts: Federer, 14–13
Outdoor: Federer, 11–9
Indoor: Djokovic, 4–3
Grass courts: Tied, 1–1

Hahahahahaha. Only a figment of your imagination.

OP forgets that stupidity and ignorance are the number one and two characteristics of Nadal hating trolls. Laughing balls off is the correct response; actually trying to engage with them in any sort of a substantive discussion is his mistake.

Yeah, Fed and Nole are equals on grass according to h2h.

Funny how this response got flown right over. This has got to be wicked painful for the fed kiddies to deal with. "Greatest hard courter ever" has a 6-9 record against his biggest rival.

Hahahaha

H2H is the deciding factor for everything!

Only when it works in your favor, otherwise ignore it.

That is Rafa fan motto. Only evidence that agrees with their premise is the real evidence.

Does this remind you of something? My religion is the only religion that is 100% correct, all other religions are false.

I use the same logic to debunk other religions, but my religion is real so this logic doesn't work for my religion.

We are the keyboard warriors!!!

As far as playing against each other is concerned. Neither one dominates the other on any surface.

This is quite impressive since most matches were past Fed's prime.

And also Djokovic dominates Rafa in HC h2h, even when Nadal is his peer.

So, this proves why Federer is the best. He dominated his peers and is stil going toe-to-toe with the next generation.

And your point is?

Davy will always be older than Rafa till the end of time.

My point? lol You stated above that young Rafa lost to Davy due to not mastering hardcourts at a very young age and early in his career. Just pointing out that Rafa was not young in 2010 and 2011. No specualtion, just straight up facts. In fact wasn't 2010 supposedly Rafa's best year in his career? So Davy beat Rafa during his peak, no?

The great thing is that age matters with Davy and Rafa, but not with Rafa and Federer.

That is classic clayqueen :).

He has beaten Djokovic in 2 US Open finals and an Olympic semi-final, Federer in an Australian Open final and Murray in a US Open semi-final.

That's very good going indeed.

Nadal is 3rd best hard court player of his era (after Fed/Djoko). And yes he is underrated on hard when those ridiculous threads about Davydenko, Safin, Roddick, you name it, being better than him on hard keep popping up for no good reason.

Must be why you obsessively post about him!
