Is Nick K writing his own wiki?

Talk about hagiography. Whoever's writing the thing makes sure to put his losses in context (Injury! It was close! The other guy is really good!) and glazes over all the bad stuff. Some questionably relevant facts are also highlighted. Check some of it out -

Kyrgios is only the third player, after Dominik Hrbatý and Lleyton Hewitt, to have beaten each one of the Big Three (Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, and Rafael Nadal) the first time he played against them.

He also donated $10,000 towards the redevelopment of the Lyneham Tennis Centre there.

...Kyrgios won the first set in a tiebreak, but his opponent Mathieu Rodrigues cruised through the second and third sets to defeat him.

Although he lost to Marin Čilić in the following round, his ranking rose to No. 213.

...but lost his opening match against Jerzy Janowicz in three tightly contested sets.

He then faced Andreas Seppi, who had just beaten Roger Federer in his previous match...

In Indian Wells, he served for the match against Grigor Dimitrov, but rolled his ankle and ultimately lost.

In the third round, despite losing the first set, he advanced past seventh seed Milos Raonic...

...before falling to Andreas Seppi in round two, despite leading by two sets to love.

He was then beaten by Grigor Dimitrov in a tight four setter...

After the Australian Open, Alexander Zverev defeated Kyrgios in four sets at the Davis Cup. It was soon revealed that he was playing with an elbow injury.

His won his first-round match over former world No. 1 Murray.

Kyrgios lost the Wimbledon final to Novak Djokovic in a competitive 4-set match lasting over three hours.

This was followed by a headline appearance at the Brisbane International 2025 (where he was the 2018 champion)

...he lost in three tie-breakers, not once dropping his serve.

Djokovic and Kyrgios lost their second round doubles match to the number one seeds, Mektic and Venus in a close match.

He was drawn against Dutchman Botic Vande Zandschulp who has recently defeated both Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz...

Kyrgios withdraw from a practice session after injuring his wrist but chose to play anyway.

Needing pain killers to continue the next day, he played Alexander Zverev but lost his match in straight sets.

Kyrgios has been involved in a number of controversial incidents during tennis matches, mostly during his early career.

I guess now that he's finished it's time to put the rose-coloured glasses on?

Kyrgios really became washed up at record speed.

Made the 2022 Wimbledon final and then has played only about 20 matches since and is virtually retired. Hasn’t won a singles match since October 2022

This does read as very funny, but I'm also sure most Wiki pages are like this.

Though I guess most players of his standing probably don't actually have such detailed pages, so maybe you are onto something :-D at the very least, he obviously has some very dedicated fan somewhere.

let's be honest; Jerzy Janowicz was on the right path and was going to be a beast. Not sure what happened to him.
Seppi and Dimitrov have proven themselves of beating top 10 players before.
Nick K could be like certain flex league players who play the best players in the league closer and better than against avg. players who they may lose to.

He hasn't won a set since October 2022. He has recorded one break of serve in that time, in his round 1 Australian Open defeat.

someone should let him know this. the funny thing is he has to keep playing so he stays relevant for the other crap he does lol

They really shouldn't be. Tennis is pretty much win-loss, it doesn't matter if you weren't broken, served for it but couldn't close, played with injury blah blah. Some matches deserve some context but NK hasn't played many.
