Is Prince Textreme Tour 100P an upgrade from Head Touch Speed Pro

Been using a Head Graphene Touch Speed Pro for the past 1 1/2 years and really like it. Only problem is that is a bit low powered. I have switched from Poly/syn gut hybrid to a Syn gut mains & poly cross (Prince Syn Gut Duraflex 16/Tourna Big Hitter Silver 17) at mid range which has helped provide more pace.
I have been considering the Prince Textreme Tour 100P for some time and with the price markdown am wondering if it will be an improvement in power/feel or would it simply be a sideways move
Would appreciate any help from people familiar with them
For reference I am 63 yo 4.0 player- all court style with flat/moderate spin strokes- decent power but consistency is more of my strength on court

I would assume it is very similar. I played a 2015 TT100P for two years, only tested the later edition of the Speed Pro. Currently moved down in power, to Phantom 100 pro, but also strung lower.

Thanks- the TW review for both racquets is far more favorable to the 100P- just not sure that there will be enough of a difference to be worthwhile to change

The only real differences moving to Prince Tour 100P would be a more open 18x20 string pattern, 1mm thicker beam, and a slightly stiffer frame (66 vs 63 RA).

All else being equal, these factors would give a tiny amount of additional power and stability, but it would probably be hard to even notice.

The easiest way to increase power level would be to play with a higher powered multi string that still gives feel, like many of Tecnifibre Multi’s do.

Either way at $130 the 2nd generation Tour 100P is a fantastic deal right now as TW and Prince get ready to launch the next generation within the next month or so.
