Is the New Balance MC 803 a mid top or low top shoe?

The New Balance website states that the MC 803 is a mid top shoe. In pictures, it looks like a low top. Would someone who has tried the shoe care to comment on what height this shoe is? Thanks!

I don't have the 803, but I do have the 802, and I'd expect they'd be the same height. This may not help you, but I'd call it a "low mid". It's not quite low - I think you could look at a 653 (maybe they're up to 654) now, and see the difference.

EDIT: Okay, I looked myself, and there's very little difference - mostly just a deeper ankle cutout on the 654.

ETD, i cannot help you with the NB 803 but i did wear its predecessor the NB 802!

i still didn't feel safe with my NB 802s so i wore ASO ankle braces with them just in case!

For some reason, i don't have that reason with my NB 822 or even the NB 1002!
