Is there more pressure as #1 Seed/Player than Not

Do you think there is more pressure as the #1 seed/player than not.

Obviously, what stands out between Federer and Nadal's career is Federer has spent much more time as the #1 player and #1 seed at Grand Slams.

It had to eventually wear on Federer to be the #1 seed at 18 consecutive Grand Slams. Nadal's longest streak is four (twice). Weak.

Do you think this plays a role into the longevity of Nadal (record 9 years winning at least one Grand Slam).

In my own amateur experience, it is far more exhausting when I am favored to win a match than not.

I just don't think it will wear on Fed any longer now that he is a has-been at #4 in the rankings, but your concern is compelling and surely heartfelt.
