Olympic athlete? 4520 calories in a single meal is the healthy option? How many calories for the whole day? How much do you burn daily?

I might consider the Cheesecake Factory a few times a year. But once a week? Are you part of the cast of Big Bang Theory?

Are the calorie counts accurate? I've never eaten at a Cheesecake Factory restaurant.

I figure I need between 2-3K calories a day to maintain my bodyweight. Seems I could go for a few days off a single trip to Cheesecake Factory if I also had a dessert.

Soon everyone will be on semiglutide and most of these restaurants will go out of business.
A 20-year old might be able to get away with a Cheesecake Factory diet. But gotta wonder if the OP is pre-diabetic or overweight? Perhaps suffering from hypertension from the high levels of MSG / sodium in much of the CF diet?

Wow. Those meal choices would be healthier if eaten once every 1-3 months, but not every week.

The popularity of Cheesecake Factory is fueled by their generous portion size.

True back in the day, but the last few times I have eaten there, the portions were not as generous. I used to enjoy the jambalaya and through the years, the plate it was served on started getting smaller and shallower.

Yes. I think that meal should last you a week.

I am not scheduled to participate in the 2024 Olympics. I may join a future Olympic in 2028 if I can qualify for one of the sports categories.

This was sort of a tongue, or rather, cheesecake in cheek post. I do not plan on making Cheesecake Factory dinners a regular part of diet.

For a few years after college, I did eat there for dinner on a semi-regular basis. Maybe once a month.

I don't understand why people obsess about food, counting calories, healthy this, unhealthy that...
As long as one eats everything, in what appears to be a reasonable balance and quantity, it's fine... Does it matter if you live 99 or 100 years?

I knew the answer was no after I got to - Restaurant: Cheesecake Factory.

Then it went further downhill from there in the rest of your post.

I'm sure you were laughing the whole time you wrote your post because everyone knows what you wrote is ridiculous.

It's important. Work at a hospital for one week and you will see why it's important.

Young doctors will encourage you to eat whatever because they love performing surgeries. Hospitals too because they love making money.

I was like that until I hit about 25 years old. I could pretty much eat whatever I wanted and my metabolism would take care of the calories. After that I started needing to be more careful or it became easy to put on weight.

Make sure you think about those Cheesecake Factory meals when you wake up from foot amputation surgery.

its not so much about living 99 or a 100 years, its about quality of life the time youre alive, that said, i agree obsessing with food can be unhealthy, but some people need to get strict about it sometimes because otherwise they cant control themselves and eat fast junk food non stop because its easily availabe, im an amateur cyclist and have done difficult diets before, but at the end, its about finding what works for you, and as you said, eat varied

Hope your doc doesn't read this...

BTW, there's an overabundance of pathology out there, no one needs to drum up extra business volume.

I had assumed that the OP was, very likely, putting us on. But decided to respond as if he was asking a serious question.

You never know.

Here's the plan. 〰️ 1. Pack up your VW bus. 2. DRIVE, MAN, DRIVE❗ 3. Take a one hour detour through Wisconsin,
and pick up one of those orange cheese hats that you see in college sports. 4. Drive into N.Y., but take off that hat,
before you are fined for being a nuisance. 5. Get a job in an authentic family owned N.Y. cheesecake restaurant.
6. Since you eat free there, watch how fast you can gain 50lbs!! 7. If it's still there, join McEnroe's tennis academy,
where you'll train off the extra 50lbs., and become the new tennis sensation❗ 8. Send me 25% of your winnings.

You never know. Decades ago, I was under the impression that the food at Marie Calendars was healthy, for the most part. But then I took a closer look at the Na content & the saturated fat content on many of their offerings. And very high caloric count and total fat content on some dishes. Also high added sugar content on desserts
I don't count calories or restrict myself. Except when I am on vacation, most of the time I eat cooked meals at home. Whenever I visit a buffet or AYCE place, all bets are off, though. I eat a lot.

I don't count calories, but my meals usually have some veggies, some carbs and some meat/protein and fruit. I just eat until I am full. After exercising, I am often more hungry so I'll eat more that day. Basically, I just listen to my tummy and thus far this seems to work as I've never had a problem with gaining too much weight or getting fat.

Evidence indicates that mild or conservative alcohol consumption can provide some health benefits.

Which was all BS. Spurlock's liver was corroded because he'd been an alcoholic all his life. That guy did incalculable harm to the industry leader and it was all lies
So, it turns out that a McDonald's diet is, in fact, healthy? That puts my mind at ease. Bring on the Big Mac, fries & Coke.

To be fair, Sonic, Carl's Jr, Jack in the Box and Arby's are probably worse than Mickey D.

When I was younger, I sometimes ate 2 Big Macs or a Carl's Jr Double Western Bacon Cheeseburger after playing tennis or surfing. (plus fries, and a drink)

This one time, I tried eating this just five minutes before playing tennis because I was hungry. The results were not good... Much gastrointestinal suffering happened.

Calculate how much calories you eat when you eat a Big Tasty Bacon Menu with Fries,Coke,Mayonnaise and Ketchup and a MC Chicken..it is shocking, about 3000

A few years ago there was a study done on antibiotics in meat from popular chains. McDonald's did better than everything except Panera, Chick Fil A, and Chipotle IIRC

It's not stuff you want to eat every single day bc there are still a lot of preservatives in the food, but it's not nearly as bad as people think, especially if you keep your selections simple

Most people who claim a gluten allergy have not actually been diagnosed with a gluten allergy. Fact.
actually you should read No Grain No Pain

He talks about how they just test for one specific gluten called gliadin, but there are other forms of gluten that can cause damage. So sure, there are lots of people that have issues and get a negative test but its because the test is flawed, and not because their claims are wrong. You can see in this vid a little after 18 min where he explains the flaws in testing:

Spurlock being a fraudster makes McDonald's healthy by what process?

Doing corporate shilling for free is just sad.
