After a 34 minute 3rd set, and 32 minute 4th set (which Nadal won 6-2), Wimbledon closes the roof because "there is only 30 minutes of good light left, not enough time for a 5th set"? Roof/AC takes 40 minutes...
NADAL OUT.
Djokovic says he likes the roof and that it helps him return. Wimbledon obliges by releasing the following QF schedule:
Centre Court-
Roger Federer (SUI)[3]
v
Mikhail Youzhny (RUS)[26]
Court One-
Novak Djokovic (SRB)[1]
v
Florian Mayer (GER)[31]
Federer leads Youzhny 13-0.
Djokovic leads Mayer 1-0.
Wednesday weather forecast:
Largely cloudy with outbreaks of mainly light rain, perhaps initially locally heavy, and drizzle. However, some brighter conditions may develop, together with scattered heavy showers in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 20 deg C (68 deg F).
Probably not a case of DJOKOVIC OUT but if QF is delayed by rain it could force Djokovic to play QF over 2 days followed by SF vs Federer.
Probably won't make a difference in the end, but I think the effort is there, don't you?
