Is worth to try a new racquet?

Hi everyone, I'm a 55-year-old intermediate player who currently plays around 8 hours of tennis a day.
I've been using the Boom Pro 2024 and I really enjoy the mix of control, power, and comfort it offers.
I'm thinking about adding the Percept 100D , but I'm not sure if it's worth it.
I already have a few rackets, including the Aero 98, ISO 305, Speed MP, Yonex 97 HD, and Gravity Tour 2021. I'm curious about how the Percept 100D differs from the Boom Pro, especially in terms of feel and performance. Has anyone had a chance to compare these two rackets? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  • Have you found the Percept 100D to be more versatile than the Boom Pro?
  • What are the biggest differences in playability between these two rackets?

I've heard the Percept 100D is very similar to the ISO 305 but with the Percept having a little less stability.

do you mean 8 hours of tennis a week? 8 hours a day is a lot LOL

the biggest misconception in tennis today is that NEWER = BETTER. Which is why I love delpo and rafa for using the same racquet for decades. You're enjoying your boom pro so stay with it man, show it some love! Resist the urge to always upgrade.

The Boom Pro is a really good racquet, I am loving it. I ordered a second one. I suppose if you can demo another racquet you could find out if it's better or not, without the expense of buying another one.
I would look to change strings or tension or something before buying another racquet.
