Ok last week Isner won a 50k challenger as a wild card in KY:

Thats 4-2 in tie breaks with one 3rd set TB that he won.

This week again as a WC:

Thats 7-3 in tie breaks with ALL 5 wins having 3rd set breakers!!!!! Cmon!

It is also insanely hot and humid in both Kentucky and DC. This is something else.

Well, if you have ever played in Georgia, you know that DC is nothing compared to it climate wise. Also, he is really mentally tough so, he knows he can win, and he does.

Not to mention he's acting as if he were playing with house money...and that's a very dangerous mentality if you're his opponent.

Winning tiebreaks is a great early career sign for this kid. In mens tennis there tend to be alot of tiebreaks. So very important to be very proficient at tiebreaks.

If he can win these major tie-breaks this early in career, and that to quite convincingly, it shows how mentally tough he is, sometimes the difference between two players can be their mental game, and when its all said and done, then mentally stronger one comes out on top.
