It’s so hard to root for Novak at times, but I do hope for a good match with Rafa

Before yesterday’s Novak match finished I wanted nothing more than a DJOKODAL SF with Novak winning the semi final in a tight match. After the outbursts and aggression after he won in set 4 I did a 180 on my decision and wanted Nadal to go for #21. This morning however I am prepared to see either player win or lose respectively , although it’s left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Some people will admire Djokovic for his passion and even his outbursts and I’m not bashing his fans who on this forum are mostly amicable along with most Rafa fans, but I wish he would at least just let his tennis do the talking. It’s more then enough to enjoy when he’s playing well. Sadly a 3 hour match is overshadowed by petulant behaviour and the tennis is not discussed. I felt bad for Berrettini who gets mocked as being a mug or a nobody on here but he played well in sets 3 and 4 and could have even took it to a 5th. To then lose a match that became close at the end is painful and Novak roaring repetitively and again in close proximity to Berrettini makes Novak just look a bit of a dick, but that’s just my opinion.
I think if Novak at least brings half of that aggression and is able to control it in a better way then he has a chance against Nadal, or it could backfire against him. I definitely see it being a completely different match to last years Final, he looks hungrier for it. I also think with it being a semi final it sort of takes the pressure off Novak, their last semifinal match in 2013 was Novaks best chance, so I feel this could go the same way.
I’m prepared to accept Nadal winning #21 on Sunday if he wins but I hope for a close match and not a complete demolition job. I guess both Novak and Nadal fans deserve that

I hope to see Djok going Goldwyn Mayer lion roar all the match just to further pi$$ off the snowflakes.

Thanks for letting us know. We were all worried about who you were going to support under your new username.

He lets his tennis do the talking more often than anybody else, which is why he has accomplished as much as he has. How he expresses himself in the moment of triumph is just a sidenote. And for what it's worth I think his handling of defeats is pretty exemplary, with least amount of salt among the finest players.

Yes I’ve always said he is a good loser but he’s an awful winner

I really dont see the point this time. I don't like DJokovic for a lot of things he has done in the past and still is sometimes doing (taking his breaks, destroying rackets, defaulting...) but screaming/shouting... He didn't insult anyone. Afaik his words were just like "lets go" motivating himself. Screaming is a very effective way to express our emotions and get release. Just because people nowadays think it's odd and "aggressive" it's not violent or insulting. Tennis players are sportsmen not chess player.

So many sensitive guys here. Please I want smiles and rainbows even though they are mostly fake. Do you guys never rage in a heat of the moment when things don't go your way? Silly forum.

Yes, we are all rooting for class and decency tomorrow :D
If you understood spanish you would think differently of your hero when things don't go his way. Plus, "Keep fight against injuries, no" is no more classy and decent than Djoker's outbursts. I'm tired of this hypocritical bs.

OP probably couldn't sleep because of Djokovic's outburst, Idk how many threads about the same topic he has done since yesterday, probably way too many
This is why social media are a social failure. Resonance chambers.

I think almost everything on the planet is more classy than a Djokovic outburst lol

Nice to see the morons out in full force today, yet nobody dare say boo too a goose in person. Wouldn’t even dare look me in the eyes if you saw me in person yet you all act so hard on here, pathetic

Yes, you and your newly formed Sensitive whiners club.
No whining or sensitivity from me, I’ll happily take on all the trolls on here and there will only ever be one winner. I reply to the idiots but they can’t think of anything witty or clever to say back to me, failed education perhaps or no education at all. Typical cowards that walk away when challenged by someone

A solid 3 hour match won't be overshadowed by some louder 5 second winning reaction unless a person wants it to be that way.

Semifinal won't be a blowout either way I am sure of that. Honestly I am concerned that Djokovic could actually edge that one out.

I think you need to stop worrying about imaginary psychotic rages from Djokovic and start worrying about your own real ones.
