It's here! Djokovic has his 100th ATP title!!!

I would love him to get #25 and #110 (or at least #104), but we need to keep it real, he's almost certainly not gonna make it. It doesn't make his GOAThood worth any less.

Whose racquet is that? Is that a ti.radical?

Can't imagine him ever withdrawing from a Slam other than for health reasons.
I havent heard anything, so its not like other things where i was right having heard things (eg Sinner, and Djokovic at Rome), this is just a gut feeling i have. Hope im wrong as obviously Djokovic at the FO is good for the event.

Djoker already doing better since ditching Murray. Another lesson to the kiddies. Don’t hire a personal buddy to be your coach, don’t go into business with them either. Don’t let them represent you if you get in legal trouble

It should be strictly professional and business
And no personal attachment or intimate favors

As soon as he fires Murray it gets better. Now he need to win 25 and 110. Both I think is theoretically doable. If he does this then even the biggest mental gymnastics cannot find anything of value which he doesn’t have. I don’t put too much stock into Connor’s 109 nor do I think it makes sense to compare Court’s 24 to Djoko’s but to shut even the dumbest critics down let him win those.
He is never getting close to another slam, and he knows it. Lets be brutally honest here, his legs have totally gone now. He struggled against out of form declining Norrie and Hurcacz. Djokovic's reaction at the end and his comments spoke volumes, and he i think knows its over at the slams.

He had to deal with so many obstacles including tough competition.

Djokovic should have reached 100 a long time ago because he had a relatively easy road ahead
Djokovic was majoring in the majors then. It only fair he starts stat padding in the smaller titles considering he leads your idol in most of the big titles won ;)

He wasnt majoring the Majors though until his great rivals were off tour thats why i think he needs to be careful not to try and surpass Federer (its Federer he wants to beat not Connors btw as there is still personal stuff there i think) by playing events with weak fields. Not saying he vultured Geneva, it made sense for him to play there, but you get my point moving forward.

I will admit that these are the most likely tournaments he can win so he should try to vulture them. He managed it but still a very tough battle and he just got over the line.

He still has things to motivate him even if he can’t win a slam again. Another slam is unlikely but I will never rule it out 100% with him.

Think to lend credibility he would need to do it at events Sinner or Alcaraz are at, not every event but at least two of the remaining 10 at least.

Missed the match but congrats to Novak, pretty incredible accomplishment especially considering the gauntlet of players he had to navigate the first half of his career in particular.
Also nice to Hurkacz back in form, he's a threat for the 2nd week of Wimbledon in this form.

Coaching had nothing to do with Novak's win today. At Novak's near best he would beak Hubie, a player I do like, easily in two sets.

Here in the UK when someone reaches 100 they get a telegram from the King.

Will Novak now get a telegram from the President of Serbia?

Serbia has a crown prince and a royal family.

The presidency is a legacy of communism, a foreign body to the Serbs.

Just think of how much tennis string Djokovic has used for 100 tournaments.
If it was actually spaghetti, there would be enough to feed everyone in Gaza!!

How big is the expectation from novak fans . And more bigger is the urge to criticise novak by not so novak fan.
At 38 years what he is supposed to do.
Any title at this age is bonus .
He has surpassed nadal in a great metric that is to win atleast 1 title for 20 years (nadal has 19 years record) .

As soon as he fires Murray it gets better. Now he need to win 25 and 110. Both I think is theoretically doable. 110 is too far. He has to cross fedrer. Maybe 4 small titles can be acheived. Master and slams are big fish.
