Nadal is a nightmare match up for almost everyone on the tour. Djokovic would have won the last point against anyone else but Nadal somehow won that point. Quite scary.

I'm not sure. Different matchups. I believe Fed would have gotten more cheap points off his serve against Nadal actually, and the flatter shots would have worked better against Nadal, but then Nadal can abuse Fed's BH like no other, so who knows? I believe Nadal would have won but I think it'd be a tad tighter actually.

Fed,even if he were to lose would've employed a whole different range of tactics.Right from thinking of actually venturing into the net on his terms to trying to work Nadal in the bh corner and make him come with dtl shots on that wing. From their recent matches I've thought Roger has been trying to do to Nadal exactly what Nadal does to him.Keep him pinned on the bh

I don't think so. nadal just knows how to deal with his grinding game. Like Murray in Australia and federer djoko grinded both of them to death and led to errors after errors. Not with Ralph however

Yes but that too. Nole only returned 2 second serves and shanks balls and makes uncharacteristics ue-s.

The "man to beat" is really getting a beat-down.

That 17 match win streak apparently did not turn him into the GOAT.

Considering many said he's "the greatest returner in the world today", Djokovic isn't really making a lot of returns on Nadal's serve.

Of course he's not the GOAT, but to be fair to him, he's playing Nadal, who is the master of stopping people's streaks (just ask Fed).

Djoker, 23 years old, gets on his high horse. And he's a very talented guy, don't get me wrong. But he needs to keep in mind that when he's playing Fed and Nadal...two guys historically heads and shoulders above everyone else...one of those guys is nearing 30 and the other guy is just one year older than Djoker.

With Fed, time is on Djoker's side. But it's a whole different thing with Nadal, Djoker's contemporary. It's gonna be a long year for Nole....

There is already a Showstopper in the world.
