I sat on the 6th row for the semis that year. It’s fitting that people were posting about Nadal’s serve being off. His first serve % was 29% in the final. Djokovic was the quintessential immovable object that year.

Rafa's first serve percentage was actually 71% and overall serving 62% in the final. I doubt Rafa has ever in his career had a first serve percentage of 29%. Click on "serve statistics overview:"

Yeah, I had that number in my head for that match but must’ve confused it for Nadal’s 1st serve % for set 2, which is when he lost his serve mojo.
