Jack Kramer Staff??

Hi there,

I recently picked up a "Jack Kramer Staff Midsize"
(from a local used sporting goods store for $15)

- Fairway Leather (3/8th)
- 9.5/10 Condition
- Butt Cap "KNO"

Was hoping someone could help me out on some questions I had:

1. Is this a "St. Vincent"?
2. How much is something like this worth?

Tried to hit with it and it is just too demanding for me, coming from the PS6.0-95"

Those JK staffs were made in StV and the butt cap code is probably KNQ

They play very much like the ps60 sv but more flexible since there is fiberglass in the mix. Many ps60 players enjoy this racket since it offers additional flex. You should make a nice profit selling it, I would be happy to have it.

So all the Kramer Staffs are made in St. Vincent. Didn't realize that.

How much do you think one of these can fetch? I'll most likely be selling it.

The Kramer Staff was only made in St Vincent......

You might get $150-$200 now on the big site......

I sold one last year in that range(and I regret it)

I recently snagged a replacement actually a little cheaper than yours.....

I won't be selling it.

String it up with some fresh high quality string(pref nat gut 16 ga) put a little lead tape at 3/9 (about 1.5/2 inches, no more) and give it another go.....you will be presently surprised. Not hard to hit at all and the lead really opens up the sweet spot.

Fantastic racquet, prefrd by many to the prostaff 85.....

You snagged one at a good price and it is in good shape. It definitely is a gorgeous racquet. I'm surprised the poster above received 150-200 for it. I don't see those sell for more than $100 typically. They're not as coveted as the PS6.0 85 SV, but they're still nice frames.

One went last week for $208.....and there is one up now at $199 buy it now....I believe the OP stick is in better shape than either.....

I also regret selling the one I sold, it was virtually mint, not a mark on it.....

The one I just picked up was probably hit for a few hours....it might be an 8/10....but like I said, I am keeping it.

If the OP really wants to sell he might consider putting it up now to compete with the $199 bin....

I think he should keep it.

They are high on fleabay, currently, because of those cashing in on the whole PS 6.0 craziness. One like this in mint condition will fetch $150.00 without the original case/cover or $175.00 or so with.
