seriously what is this dude wearing in dallas this week?
Black in summertime is bad bcuz black attracts all light which in turn is transmutated into thermal energy that makes you hotter but its already hot outside so you get a heat stroke and die but this is not summertime so the heat from the black actually keeps you warm and loose but without the risk of a heat stroke so this thread can be closed now in one long, run-on sentence.

I'm not sure black attracts light

I like wearing black in all weather conditions and make my opponent fear that I’m tougher than them when it is hot. If you are fit, I don’t think it makes that much difference if you wear black or white in the summer at least in California.

I have a bunch of the Metal Vent Tech shirts Sock is wearing. They're really great for playing - wick moisture well, lightweight, not too tight or loose, some venting on the back. There's a similar shirt they sell that's lighter weight with extra venting which is really good for hot weather.

The shorts look like Pace Breakers which are probably my favorite short for playing or doing workouts.

Lulu can be expensive at full price but they have sales often. Their customer service is pretty good too. I had broken the waistband drawstring and emailed CS to see if their stores can fix it for me. They asked for pictures and sent me a gift card good for a new pair.

Yeah, I like their shorts, very comfortable. I've also been wearing the Ten Thousand shorts for my matches lately, they're very functional and something different from the run of the mill Nike or Adidas shorts out there.

I swear by the linerless Pace Breaker 7in shorts. I'll get whatever ugly color is left on sale and pair it with a black shirt (like the Kokkinakis AO kit, which isn't Lulu).

Good for Babolot for continuous loyalty in sponsoring Sock. I am not sure many other racquet company would have!

Of course they would. If nothing else he's still one of the best doubles players in the world and he's always lisible in Laver Cup as well.

Babolat throws just racquets at anyone anyway, they have a limitless budget to sponsor people.

The two original men in black, long before TLJ and Will Smith united, were Johnny Cash and Gary Player. They adopted the habit for two different reasons:

Cash toured so much back in the day when you carried little and there wasn’t much cash earned to visit the dry cleaners regularly; black looked better than lighter shades when worn multiple times.

Player started wearing black after seeing the hit TV series Have Gun Will Travel in the 50s. The show’s protagonist was named Paladin and he was a frontier Western precursor to modern day private investigator/fixer, always showing up when hired to help the victims in distresss. The actor Richard Boone always wore black and Player adopted that style in honor of Paladin. Later on in his career Player suggested he was able to intimidate his match play rivals by his superior stamina in hot, sunny conditions despite wearing black. I’m thinking his freshness was more a product of his commitment to the gym. The guy still plays today at age 86, still actually hitting the traditional first tee shot at Augusta every April.

Lululemon is very comfortable sports attire suitable for tennis (but not tennis specific made).

I wish they expand their "tennis" line, quality of their materials and the attention to ergonomics/aesthetics detail is currently "top of the line".
