Jack Sock would be the best doubles partner.

He's not the most talented, not the most athletic, but I feel like he'd be my favorite ATP pro to play doubles with. He's cheerful, would keep you pepped up, and, even as a top 10 singles player, he consistently plays at doubles slams/ events and wins. He also has played with so many different partners, like Johnson, (3rd at Olympic's,) Sands (1st at Olympic's,) Pops (1st at Wimbledon,) and was (imho) the dominate common denominator at the laver cup doubles matches.

Sock is both more athletic and talented than he gets credit for. And he's specifically very talented for doubles too, except for returns

I disagree, he's pretty athletic and talented. Besides his backhand liability, he's a pretty solid all-around player. I love seeing his doubles skills come out in singles, it's fun to watch.

i would love to see him lead a return of top singles players back into competing in more doubles events. i know it's highly unlikely. i really
miss the days of mcenroe and edberg. it was almost more fun to watch them play doubles. too bad sampras and federer didn't have that
same love for it.

Sock and Nadal would be the ultimate dream team for dubs. The 2 best singles doubles players there are. The amount of spin generated would be crazy

He is an excellent doubles player . But as far as being positive on court , he is up there with Andy Mury
in singles matches he can definitely mope around a little bit, but he is an excellent doubles partner in terms of supporting his partner

Don’t forget his first grand slam title in the 2011 us open playing mixed dubs with Melanie Oudin!

You're making me tear up at the memory of the now defunct PopSock team. :( Damn I loved watching that team.

You'd have a better chance pairing off with 58 year old McEnroe who is still the superior doubles player.

Literally. :p
Never said Sock is the best doubles player, but of anyone on tour, he'd make the experience the best for me as doubs partner.
