Going to Montego Bay next week, specifically the Iberostar Grand Hall. They seem to have a couple of tennis courts.

Has anyone had experiance w/tennis at a place like this? I've reasearched somewhat, apparently there is a pro in some capacity.

Should I bother bringing a racquet? Wondering how much "lessons"/hitting with the pro might be; am I likely to find someone to hit with....etc.

    Would appreciate any input....thanks

You might find some people to hit with, I typically do. Pros probably charge 50-75 an hour.

I stayed at an all-inclusive in Ocho Rios last month. You're probably not going to find any guests onsite who can play, but the pros will generally offer (free) lessons during a set time each day. I'd advise bringing your racquet, I was able to get a decent hour of hitting in each day, but hopefully you'll be spending too much time enjoying the resort to think too much about playing tennis.

Going with the family to Beaches Negril for 5 days in next couple of weeks. Anybody been? Should I bring my/our rackets? Thanks in advance...
  5. I went to the Grand Pallidium and hit on their tennis courts over there. They were actually in pretty good shape but there wasn't a pro on hand at the time I played. But like others said, hopefully you'll be doing other things to enjoy other than tennis since that can be played anytime ;)
