James Blake is going bald, no?

Using deductive reasoning, I have concluded that James Blake is going bald and that's why he shaved his head. Either he's going bald or he lacks common sense. One reason that he originally got so many endorsements was that he had a very attractive personal appearance when he first got on the tour. For whatever reason, his hair style seemed to bring his whole look together. He looked very good with that hair and Citizen Watch still features him with his former hair style (not the bald look). Have you noticed that Blake has not been featured in any other major phot advertisement since he lost his hair? He looks far less attractive with that bald head. My conclusion is that, just like Andre Agassi, Blake only decided to shave his head when he could no longer where his hair long without all the bald spots showing. If I am wrong about this, then Blake is getting lousy fashion advice and/or has no sense of what looks good. On a 10 point scale he was about a 9 with the old hairstyle; he drops to about a 6 with the bald look including that funny shaped head.

Can anyone confirm that he is starting to go bald?

Michael Jordan was clearly going bald just before he started shaving his head. Many athletes do this, but there are some who shave their heads yet have a full head of hair like Shaquille O'Neal and Xavier McDaniel. I'd say James is probably going bald, but then again, he just might like the look.

Yeah he is going bald which is why he auctioned the dreads? Earlier when he had very short hair you could see it thinning in the front. Lucky for him he can pull off the bald look very easily. By the way he said he hadnt shaved since he last lost, so I'm guessing the beard will go now.

Yes im one of James' many friends on this board I can confirm it.
BTW Roger's not going bald he told me.
Oh and a little bird told me James is gonna get some ads after the USO. Lack of endorsments mightve had to do with not being on the radar screen when he was sitting around playing cards with a broken neck and paralyzed face. Just a thought.

Then his hair folicles were destroyed by UV damage as there was no hair to block the sun. That's why he experienced rapid hair loss. And so now he has to shave his head all the time.

Damn, that's harsh. I just thought maybe all that stress from having his dad die to getting shingles to having his face paralyzed did it over for him and his hair. But UV rays killing your hair follicles??? It does make sense, though; I don't think I'll be shaving my head any time soon.

Agreed! Blake is just a good looking guy so hair is of minimal importance.

By the way, shaved heads are now IN for straight men regardless of whether they are losing their hair (beckham, tyrese, kobe bryant, etc) and have been in for a decade for gay men.
