For those of you in question of what James is playing with, here are some interesting pictures of his racquet. All credit goes to jace112 for the pictures. He posted them in a previous thread. I just wanted to make a thread to show those of you in doubt. Thanks jace112.

I'm pretty certain Bake admitted to using a Dunlop racquet and not a Prince. I think he hasn't switched to a Prince racquet yet because their still designing him one.

that might have been his racquet, but prince has made one for him, and that is not it.

On the pictures, it looks like there's about 5g of lead total at 3 and 9.

If we presume that it is a Dunlop M-Fil 200, I calculated from his weight and balance that he has an additional 31 g of lead centered at 5.4" from the butt. I don't own an M-Fil 200, but I wonder if someone wants to try this mod and string it at 68 lbs and report back?

Hello travlerajm, i read all you say about customisation about raquect and it really works great but i have a question about the 31g add at 5.4", where exactly put it? inner or outside the branch? what is the most effective?
When i custumise my ps 6.0 95 i put it 10g on inner branch and 10g on outside branch...

Looks like the 200g mold and I don't think the mold has changed...it's been the same since the Revelation...

Yeah, it's a 200G all right . . .

If I remember correctly, it's a PJ'ed Muscle Weave 200G. I don't think he ever switched over to the Hot Melt or the M-Fil technology frames.

From where are you "remembering" this? Does this look like a 200G, too, to you?

PC, Where do you get all these awsome racquets? Or an even better question, What's your address?;)

From a masseuse! Do you believe that?! Cool dude . . .

At any rate, it's called a paintjob when the frame comes from a different mold with different lay-up, head size, and head shape . . .

I'm not talking about looks, I'm talking about material composition. Calm down, I know all of the 200Gs "looked" the same.

Hi everybody, I took those pics in Roma, at the Inter****onali d'Italia Master Series, with a Canon 300D (Digital Rebel in the US) with the stock 18-55 lens.

I'm really happy that you liked the shots and I wish to say thank you to all the members that reminded who the author was!

I recently checked my memory card and I have two others pics, the Verdasco Tecnifibre and the Youzny Head flexpoint paintjob. I'll try to post them in a new thread.

Ciao!

No, you're saying it is a PJ'ed MuscleWeave 200G. It's not an anything 200G when the lay-up and head shape/size are all different from any 200G. Well, except the paint!

Material composition? Pretty sure frames nowadays are made of graphite. MuscleWeave is what's called a marketing ploy for a particular lay-up.

it is either a 300g or a 200g. I thick its the 300 because that was the stick he was using way back

Haven't we been over this before? His racket is 100sqin, and can't remember the name but it is a g nothing.

That pic was of either the 100g or the 200gxl stretched, Not sure why someone would want the 100g when they could have a MW200g90:mrgreen:

ok guys here is the real story on James' racquet.

it's particular mold that dunlop bought years ago (used to be called tyger or something like that years back). he never used a MW200g, HM 200g, 300g, or mfil 200, or prince. he's always used the same racquet.

it's not that heavy, even with the added lead. it's under 13 oz strung for sure. it's a realtively thin beam with a stiffness of around 67. i've never put the racquet on an rdc machine so i don't know the balance or SW.

he also uses a prince shape handle with prince cushion grip.

Richie..beam thickness looks like 19-20 mm to me...hows the weight like? would you say between the 300 and 200. Balance? My guess is just a little headlight or maybe even balance. thanks

i measure 20mm.

weight, unstrung, is under or close to 12 oz. i don't have a scale.

balance is hard to determine because of the lead at 3/9. i should check to see if there is any lead under the grip to counter-balance because it doesn't feel even or head heavy.
