What of the playing style of Janko?
After that great match against Federer in last year's Australian Open, I expected him to have a better year than he did. He certainly can hit the tennis ball, but suffers from too much inconsistancy.
He should use more variety in his game, instead of just being a baseline basher.
Today he destroyed monfils...rare win in 2 sets for him! But Gael played one of "his" matches...
He is teasing us all the time. He plays a great match from time to time (Gonzalez Wimbledon 2007, Federer AO 2008, Roddick Wimbledon 2008, several other wins against top 10 - Blake, Youzhny, Ferrer, now Monfils), and than fades back to mediocrity for months.
Lather, rinse, repeat, ...
The guy is a beast one of my favourtite players on tour.
Hard to believe he took out Monfils on clay.
I love that jump he does when he takes on a backhand early.
He wears sunglasses on the court. Enough said.
I like this Janko
I really like Tipsarevic, but gj011's avatar really scares me
Should I change it?
No, of course not! I like it.......it's very ominous.......
Edit: Maybe there is a picture of Nole and a hookah
Who is that (in the picture)?
But yah Tiparevic is one of my favorites on tour, but i never see much of him
i always thought of him as a great but inconsistent player. he will play outstanding one day, and just blow it another
I watched him play against Roddick last year at Wimbledon and I was really impressed. Unfortunately he doesn't play like that all the time. He would definitely be in the top 20.
At the moment he is ranked 56.
His highest career ranking was 33.
"ma koji ti je ku*ac bre" i mean what's wrong with you it's not the same thing he meant
Whoa I never know that was Tipsarevic. I always thought it was some hipster mob boss.
He's like a slightly more powerful Arnauld Clement. Not sure if it's possible for Tips to maintain a top 10 level year long with his stroke production and height. He has to really swing hard and go for broke, successfully, to compete with the very best. From what I've seen.
Yeah I never knew your avatar was Tipsarveic, I never payed it much attention....
Gj011 are you from Belgrade?
Yeah after seeing him in the AO against Fed...where he definately could have won, I thought I'd be seeing him more often. Oh well.
I really like him though.
Baby Tipsa was a sick player! Love his Lleyton Hewitt style celebration after winning first set vs Fed here:
