dr325 is writing about swingweight not weight of Sinners. If it was more heavier he wouldnt be able to accelerate it like he does, at least not during the whole match.According to some sources, Nadal is up to 345 gr. these days.

Not sure about that. Release timeframe (beginning of lockdown) and Novak not using latest PJ is probably not helping...
I do like the feel of the 339 better than the 301. I did like the 263 a lot
Then, there is Rublevesque setup??'Sinner's racket is a nadalesque setup, light, head heavy and with a high swingweight compared to it's weight
Nadal 345g 33.6cm 370sw
Sinner 325g 33.3cm 340sw
Compared to idk, Thiem 340g 32.3cm 345sw
Djokovic 353g 32.3 359sw
A Djokovicesque setup
It's about how you chose to deliver the swingweight through the ball, either with a light and high balance point racket or a lower and higher static racket. Good luck.
Very 6.1 like classic type of setup with high static, low balance and low ish swing weight (compared to the static weight at least) it seems? Wasn't he using 6.1 when he was with Wilson too? Kinda makes sense. I'm hoping he rocks Gravity PJ soon! Then, there is Rublevesque setup??
~360g static, ~ 335SW?
Of course but I would say Rublev is a Federesque setup if you don't mindThen, there is Rublevesque setup??

305-308 grams, 323-325 balance, 305-310 swingweight unstrung.strung specs: 325g, 33.3 cm balance and 340 SW.
Grip 3: Hydrosorb Pro+ White Head overgrip
String: Head Hawk Touch 28kg
Does anyone have his unstrung specs?
If you have strung specs unstrung is pretty close to -17g, -10mm, -30 sw.strung specs: 325g, 33.3 cm balance and 340 SW.

You will need lead under the bumper. Probably around 3g maybe 4g of lead at 12.Im trying to build a speed mp close to his spec. Don’t have a swingweight machine though but maybe I’ll make one of those homemade ones.
During Wimbledon I saw very small strips like 2 inches or less at 3 and 9. To get his specs do you think he also has some lead under bumper at 12 or would his lead at 3 and 9 be enough?
Will probably get what I can on the speed model. Just trying to get something close to feel it. I’m using a 18x20 blade now that’s heavy with quite a bit of weight to the head so I’m used to that style. I doubt I’ll switch away from blade but I like testing stuff a couple times a year. But which Speed MP are you trying to mod? Graphene Touch Speed MP is what you need, and it's different, light and fast head when stock, and lots of dip, attacking spin.
When you mod one that is ~300g/320mm stock to 340sw and string it with Hawk Touch 1.30 you get a hammer like racquet, all the weight is at the top, so when hitting you need to constantly hit at high speed and keep it moving fast.
It takes time to master such balance, volleys and serves can be difficult, on serve you need to keep the racquet head moving non stop, without the "hold" at the trophy pose etc. But digging yourself out of a corner with a counterpunch becomes easy - if the incoming ball has pace - with this frame at 340sw running forehand from the corner is so easy and natural, and you can see Jannik hit it regularly with ease and precision as well.
Touch Speed MP requires constant fast hitting from your swings and 340sw needs fast incoming balls, so maybe try with less lead first. If you play with a lower level opponent or a junior that becomes difficult. Also if you don't attack the ball and hit it late, with a blocking kind of movement, like with an Aero, it doesn't work. Touch Speed MP requires attacking and hitting in front of the body with max forward drive motion
Good luck and do write your impressions![]()
Got it thanks. I thought it was interesting he had those tiny strips on at Wimbledon at 3 and 9. I wonder how much is even on there. I wonder if he’s trying to increase his weight as he gets stronger. You will need lead under the bumper. Probably around 3g maybe 4g of lead at 12.
USA. Any idea how the new ones play compared to the old g speed touch mp? Old one more flex? His specs have been like that for several years now, it's not new, both lead under the bumper and the strips slightly above 3 and 9 are the same, 340sw, and strings and tension. He asks for restringing during a match quite often, and it's easy to hear "28 kilos" also quite often.
You won't get anything like that with another Speed MP unfortunately, G360, G360+ and Aux Speed MP are quite different compared to G Speed Touch MP
Are you in Europe maybe?
Wow that’s one of the most detailed reviews I’ve seen. It’s funny how you were writing about the G360+ I have a 4.5 friend of mine who hits exactly how you described. Everything on the back leg with a lot of high loopy spin.OK, would've sold you mine maybe, already modded
G360 got a new mould, narrower racquet head, less round, slightly more elongated, but the frame was very stiff feeling. quite different compared to Touch, slightly less open string spacing and less light and fast racquet head when stock, so it swings more "middle of the way", while Touch really requires fast hitting through, a lot of forward drive. A friend I play with just recently sold his G360 Speed MPs so I tried them several times
Then players complained about the very stiff feel of the G360 and we got G360+, that flexes in the throat, and you can feel it. Although only the "+" changed in the naming, the frame is totally but totally different. Launches higher, is soft and flexy in the throat but still stable in the hoop. Still asking for fast attacking but you can swipe upwards even more than with G360, with Touch it just isn't so. But G360+ Speed MP is not so great for good advanced male players above 15-16, it launches too much, needs more control, stringing super tight didn't help at all, adding a lot of lead to get weight of shot just made it flex and bend more, and it still launched way too high to be able to punch through the court Jannik style. It plays more for people who lift the ball while playing on the back/outer leg, from the heel so to speak.
This new Aux Speed MP seems to be more like G360+, same mould, slightly firmer frame, they probably reined in the launching and the flexing a bit, haven't tried. But I'm definitely sure that it just isn't similar to Speed Touch MP..
And to answer your second question, G360 is definitely stiff, stiffer than Touch, G360+ as described above, new Aux haven't tried but could behave like a more controlled G360+, slightly firmer, so flex could be similar to Touch. When you play Touch stock it's not plush, it's a firm feeling racquet, with a very solid torsional stability, but with a such a light head that I told myself "yeah, this is made for juniors, light and fast". Behaviour of the racquet changes as you add lead, but it's still medium-slightly stiffer feeling frame even at 340w, but you don't notice because it crushes the ball differently with lead added at 12, and you don't need to swing so fast non stop anymore, but you still have to get the ball in front and swing through though, just look at Jannik or Bianca. So I'd also say that Touch Speed MP is a good teaching tool for juniors, as they kind of have to play with a proper technique with it
I think there are other pro players who play with G Touch Speed MP, Bianca Andreescu for example, try finding that Head factory code to be able to better search for it on the forum
The Graphene 360, Graphene 360+ and Auxetic are all same mold (and drill patterns, 18x20 for the Pro and 16x19 for the MP), TK339.OK, would've sold you mine maybe, already modded

I still don’t know how guys that tall with large hands use smaller grip sizes. Medvedev has monster hands and uses a 3. I’m 5’9 and I need to use a 4 bc 3 is too small lolJannick's grip size seems pretty small, am I right?

My grip size is around a L4.5 (slightly higher) so I use a 4.Same here! My hands are not that big but I gravitate towards big handles as I find it to be more stable on contact. I play with a 4 but can use a 5 without any issues.

In my opinion, Speed XT and Touch were total crap. Auxetic Speed is 100x better frame for broad usersI can only say that the Speed touch was the better of all the Speed line till the maybe the new Aux Speed line that i did not test yet. It is also true i added weight to the touch and it changed it from night to day as you said! Then sadly i sold them and i went with the DR 98!
For an advanced junior would you still reccomend the speed xt?In my opinion, Speed XT and Touch were total crap. Auxetic Speed is 100x better frame for broad users
If you are already using it and fits you well — keep going. If not and you are looking for a head frame, then NOFor an advanced junior would you still reccomend the speed xt?
Would you reccomend the 2024 head speed or the 2022(the one sinner used as a pj)?If you are already using it and fits you well — keep going. If not and you are looking for a head frame, then NO
The new 2024 speed pro is softer flex and more damp than the 1.0. The 2024 MP has a higher swing weight than the outgoing 1.0 and about 75% of the ones we got in at the shop were heavier than spec and worse yet 2-3 pts head heavier than spec. The pros were all within tolerances. I still prefer the feel of my 1.0s to the new one but only slightly.Would you reccomend the 2024 head speed or the 2022(the one sinner used as a pj)?
Those are some serious calluses.Sinner's hand:

SW is only 316 ??????? what , how ??
tennisspin got Janniks actual stick
static weight (strung) 323gr
balance (strung) 320mm
swingweight (strung) 316
which spec is after get rid of lead tapes.
Would need at least 8 grams at 12 to get to 340 sw. Probably a little more on the sides too + weight added from replacing bumper. The specs that’s are listed on TT of 325 static weight seem impossible given that the racquet is already at 323. Unless Harry has 4 overgrips or something like that on the racquet.

I think the listed 325 is without overgrip. Think Harry had one overgrip on it?, so it would be 317~. That looks possible.Would need at least 8 grams at 12 to get to 340 sw.
