Jannik Sinner is enjoying Milan fashion week

The abuse of Sharapova both here and in the public sphere was loud enough to make one presume she had committed a criminal offense rather than someone who missed an email.

Silly comment. We're not dealing with a criminal offense here. A player who is barred from tournaments for a few months obviously will do something else that interests him, as opposed to trolling TTW day and night.

She is a person paid a lot of money to have people read emails for her. It was her own fault.

There's a strong argument that can be made that Sinner's excuse for testing positive twice is implausible, whereas Sharapova's agent did screw up.

The Tribunal that thought his reasons plausible couldn't even come to the correct legal decision established in the Sharapova case concerning agency.

It may mitigate your punishment that your agent was at fault, but it does not establish that you were at no fault.

You can tell he's been working with Fed's handlers. Same fake photo-ops. He's a product now and fully embourgeoiser.

There is a strong argument to be made that as usual you guys don't have a clue. Meldoniun is a performance enhancing drug and Sharapova took and benefited from it for years. Sinners clostebol level wasn't enough to enhance any kind of performance and the drug was taken, according to tests, for a very short time. Those are the facts, all the rest is meaningless chatter.

Fact is that Sharapova actively took a substance while it was forbidden. Completely different league than contamination.

Nothing like a doping ban to take a rest and come back fresher for the slams

You seem to be unable to descry the issue that is at stake in both cases and that is the question of agency.

Sharapova was given some reduction in penalty as they said she was entitled to rely on her agent reading WADA emails. She got fifteen months.

In the Sinner case, the decision was that his agents entitled him to a finding of no fault and they gave him no ban. This was an error WADA could not let stand.

It's the other wary around. Clostebol is by far the more serious dope, so you are the one engaged in meaningless chatter.

When I first argued here that Lance Armstrong might be a drug cheat, I was met with a torrent of abuse directed at me for impugning Armstrong.

But when Sharapova admitted to the positive test, this announcement was met with a torrent of abuse directed at her.

Never presume anything with lass americano

Yep.. but i dont think you gather what i really mean.. lets hope barty wasnt an early retirement/ silent ban' case either.

Yes, well, you were not exactly clear and drifting off to an idle and untrue remark about Barty makes even less sense.
