Jannik Sinner Needs To Be Banned from The Game

Thread should be deleted with all the wild speculation and conspiracies from self-taught legal experts on peds and who's guilty and should be banned.
Perhaps the investigators have wised up and that honest mistakes do happen.
Sinner is not keeping tennis exciting, not some male model, and his merchandise is not flying off the wall. He would be an easy ban like Halep.
The only link I see is Cahill was coach of Halep and Cahill is coach of Sinner.
Other than that time can be better spent to look for Nellie in Loch Ness or seek out the elusive chupacabra.

I immediately stopped watching when this hippie also said "twice", just like the forum clown here. Is it really so hard to understand?

And to think this guy was leaving this forum in anger just a few days ago. But I guess he needs his audience here, god knows nobody watches his crap youtube vids.

If nobody watches my channel then why do I have half a million views? Lol. :-D

I love the whiners.

Your last video has 63 views in 4 weeks. Yes, Going hard I see. We have to go back 3 months to find a video with 1K viewers.

You have less than half a million views (475285) on 300 videos, which averages to 1524 views per video. However, sorting popular on top, the top maybe 20 video's account for the absolute bulk of those views, resulting in most videos having substantially less. 831 subscribers for a channel going on for 6 years, clearly reflects the quality and accuracy of your content.

I guess stating facts is 'whining' these days, but eh.. whatever.

Anyway, weren't you leaving this place?

Ok, I wasn't aware there was such a thing as silent bans. Never heard of them. No offence, but this all sounds like baseless speculation we can hardly do anything with, while I've been trying to stick to logic. To each their own I guess.

You’re either responsible for your team’s actions (WADA view) insofar as testing positive for a banned substance or not (Tennis Independent Tribunal notwithstanding in its decision explicitly recognizing that you are). If you are then Carrot is not without fault or negligence. :(

Irrespective of which view you prefer, the problematic product comes with a rather prominent doping warning so Naldi’s tale is wonderful. :D

It is absolutely disgusting to see the way that the Talking Heads in the ATP media are covering for this guy!! He failed not one, but two drug tests! They pitch one of the most ridiculous stories, that I've ever heard, about how he managed to get the clostebol into his system in the first place and we're supposed to just accept this story??! Like they're not trying to cover for the guy. When is justice going to be done about this?

You have a number of potential targets for your ire but ATP Media is off base. Try the ITIA or Resolution Sports or the Tennis Independent Tribunal. ATP Media obviously has nothing to do with anti-doping enforcement. ATP Media is supposed to present tennis in the most favorable light. It’s not a good look if the #1 player tests positive, whether intentionally or not. Any positive spin you may perceive by ATP Media is part of its job.

This post absolutely made my day. :-D

I said that I had half a million views and you said ''No, you only have 475,000.''

In other words, people watch my videos. So thank you for proving me right. (y)

No the ATP media absolutely deserves the blame for this.

They are doing everything that they can to dance around WADA'S appeal. They think that if they ignore the problem that it will just go away. But they are just one part of the problem. The ATP not only agreed to waive the provisional ban, but they also worked with Sinner to help release the story. They chose when to release it at (around the time of the US Open) and they declared him as being not responsible, right away. They are in on the cover-up.

o_O

You really should consider looking into the basics of how the TADP works. As far as the appeal of a provisional suspension the ATP, of course, has no involvement as it has no involvement in the TADP other than requiring it’s players to adhere to it.

“A player may appeal a provisional suspension to an independent tribunal chair (appointed by Sport Resolutions). If the appeal is successful, the provisional suspension will be lifted, and the player can continue to compete whilst an investigation takes place. If the appeal is dismissed (or the provisional suspension is not appealed), then it will be announced publicly after a minimum of 10 days have passed after the pre-charge letter was sent.”

As far as the ATP/ATP media and it’s behavior refer back to my earlier post. The ATP is not a nuetral entity nor a news organization. It’s a player-tournament owner association. It‘s interest is in promoting and protecting players, tournaments and tennis. If a challenger player is involved in an ADRV they may throw them to the wolves. If the #1 player is involved in an ADRV they circle the wagons. The latter is neither surprising nor inappropriate.

Is it possible Mr. Hovell the independent tribunal chair in this particular case decided to jeopardize his private legal practice and reputation by — what? — taking a bribe from the ATP to overturn a provisional suspension which underlying case was going to be fully investigated and adjudicated in any event. I guess anything is possible but you can come up with a cockamamie story for anything. If you are more interested in conspiracy theories and coverups please excuse my interruption and carry on.

I’ll tell you an area I think unfair to players generally. Both Carrot appeals were lightning fast. Imagine the resources required. The hours put in on an expedited basis by his law firm and lining up whatever experts and other materials were involved in his putting together his appeal. I don’t think some random player would have the same ability to mount a defense, especially so fast.

It’s also possible the ATP stepped in to help speed the appeal process by reaching contacts at the ITIA and requesting they contact their client Sports Resolutions to speed things along. The time frame is very impressive. Two days to reverse the initial provisional suspension. (y) If you want some conspiracy catnip consider whether Sports Resolutions gets dropped down the line if the provisional ban is upheld. :sneaky:
