Nolefam, please dont be upset. Sinner is a worthy successor.

Lol. Your comment shows Nolefam isn't the problem. Nolefam doesn't care and doesn't vote in these robotized, rigged polls. We have better things to do. Nolefam already knows Djokovic has a bigger fanbase than any other active player, including Sinner. The number of views of matches and Highlights on Youtube tell all we need to know about who is drawing attention and who isn't.... For this fan favorite award... double lol. Any person with low computer skills know it's very easy to cheat in these kind of surveys. Results mean absolutely zilch.

It’s all about the novelty, now he’s still considered a young guy living a dream… if he become a ”true dominator”, like Djoko, he will become hated by everyone

Sinner had around 150 elo pts lead over next competitor today.

As this continues, he is going to dominate very hard and will make the game boring. Fed did it and djokovic did it.

Yeah, that wont be for long.

Doubt it. Sinner is a flop. So are Medvedev and Zverev. All the TV numbers, ratings and views on social medias prove it. They aren't liked, most tennis fans don't care and won't follow their matches. The other young guys like Rune Draper and Fils aren't good enough to draw attention, so far. Guys like Fritz Ruud and Deminaur are almost irrelevant, sadly. Maybe it will change but they aren't touching Sinner's tennis level for now. Probably never will. The only player who can possibly compete with Djokovic's popularity in the next 3 years is Alcaraz. But he is still far from it today. A lot of American and Canadian fans still don't even know who is Alcaraz. Not even talking about China and India, Djokovic is a big star there, Alcaraz is practically a stranger. Millions of fans have tuned out with Federer and Nadal's retirement, more millions will leave with Djokovic. Those people won't care much about Alcaraz and Sinner.

Yet more viewership then ever. Tennis will be fine, we just wont be there to see it. There will be some that tune in. Look at Djoker fans, many of them tuned in for him and same with Rafa and even Fed. Tennis will be fine for new generations, but the old ones might move on.

IT is like video games and movies. Nostalgia almost always wins.

Nolefam, dont be upset. Alcaraz earns more than Djokovic.

During this whole clostebol and dope scandal with Jannik, I was always thinking, as do I now, that he was innocent and the doping was due to physio's mistake. But I do have to ask myself is it a bad joke if the guy who had a turbulent season regarding his PR, to say so at least, did in the end win the ATP fan favorite award. Something's not right here.

Odd to say the least. The guy has 3 times less followers than Alcaraz on X and Instagram. 10 times less than Djokovic. Even Medvedev has a much larger fan base than him. He seems to be disliked or not taken seriously everywhere. You have to read a lot of comments to find positive comments on social medias. It's not even hate, more like general indifference towards him. It was already true long before the doping scandal. His matches in big tournaments always bring the lowest Ratings. He is probably a nice guy IRL but has zero personality and charisma compared to Alcaraz and Djokovic. I find it hard to take these results seriously. Who is voting, really? How many people? In which countries? Are there moderators making sure the results are correct?

Yeah, easy to like for sure. Though, I would think Alcz would be there as 10x's the entertainment value.
