Wake Forest and Florida are the next 2...and they both decide to go to North Carolina
Middle Tennessee chooses to be 2 seed at Duke. Ole Miss and Northwestern are next...they both choose to go to Harvard.
Auburn has the 10th pick....they bypass South Carolina, Tennessee, Southern Cal and Arizona ...and elect to be the 3 seed at Georgia

Guessing coaches feel UGA will not be nearly as strong, must be expecting Quinn and Michelson to both be gone, although they did add USC Transfer Colby

Puzzled as to why Stanford didn’t choose to go to Mississippi State. Would have allowed them to play outdoors. Or is it they want to prep indoors? No matter, it’ll be a challenge playing Michigan in their fortress where they almost never lose. Even if the top 3 are out, they do have a very deep and skilled roster which can be really tough indoors. I think it’s a miscalculation on Stanford’s part. Ofc this is even assuming they beat the 3 seed

I believe I read the mens and women take 60 teams? How do they determine which teams to leave out of the kickoff?

Lots of eligible teams passed. Why would they not want a shot at playing the Nat Indoors rubbing shoulders with the elite teams? I’d think all coaches would view this as a development opportunity for their players. Could be budget constraints but they could cut some of the travel to other out of conference matches

Some prefer to set up matches Vs other teams on those weekend, maybe with a better chance to get wins. Like I can see why Drake passed on going to the SEC regional to be mincemeat in Athens. Not sure why Pepperdine and Cornell passed though.

Is there a list of teams that passed? It does seem like a great opportunity.

I'm just being lazy, I know I can look up the year end rankings. Seems like it would be a lot of fun and great competition.
