Has she been in anything good besides Friends? Reading about her new show
Wasn't in great movies by a quality standard and is probably towards the end of her big career now but definitely easily one of the best TV series actor careers of all time.

Most actors of tv series never make it any big in movies no matter how popular those tv series were.

Clooney is obviously the most successful series to movies actor but Aniston might be ranked second as she was the lead actor in many financially successful albeit often a little stupid cinema movies which most tv series actors only can dream of (just try to find any significant lead actor roles by anyone of how I met your mother, Cosby show, full house, home improvement, scrubs or any other popular tv series of the 80s to 00s).

Of course there is now a trend for washed up older succesful actors to star in tv series (starting with Charlie sheen back then) but that is a different thing.

This is probably true. Once you're a lead actor in a hugely popular TV series, it is difficult to make the transition and have audiences accept you in the films.
Ted Danson was on Cheers but Woody Harrelson (supporting TV actor) was probably more succesfull in films than Ted. Tom Selleck also struggled.
Off the top of my head, since the 1980s, only lead TV star that successfully transitioned to film is Tom Hanks / Bosom Buddies. But that TV show was not a particularly huge hit.
And there is Bruce Willis. He is probably the most successful one by far.

And RF is not that arhletic? Just an above average tennis player? C'mon, gotta give Jen at least an 8.
Angelina would have to be at least a 9. 8 would be too generous for Jennifer.
There has to be > 1 distance between Angelina and Jennifer.

Angelina == Federer.
Jennifer == Andy Murray.
:(

Agree to disagree? Actually, I'm using a logarithmic scale, not unlike the Richter acale.

BTW, I'll take cute over conventional beauty. Cute kicks Pretty's ass any day of the week.

Alan Alda also went on to a solid movie career, in generally supporting but meaty roles

Helen Hunt may have done both film and TV since the early 1970s but was probably known for here TV roles until she did "As Good As It Gets" in the late 90s

Jodie Foster did a lot of TV from the mid 60s thru mid 70s but then became know for her film roles starting in the mid 70s with Paper Moon and Taxi Driver. Stellar film career from that time onward.

Jodie was a prodigy. Even as a child artist you could see her immense talent. She would have shone anyway :)

True and Adam Sandler is the greatest actor of our time. So when they got together for Murder Mystery. You got it. Greatest movie of our time.
Horrible bosses made me see she is a good actress! Also that Sandler movie was good. She is great in comedy, and I like American comedy movies.
Sandler is actually a fine actor when he wants to be. Many will point to his role in PTA's Punch-Drunk Love as proof but I like him even more in James L. Brooks' Spanglish, which happens to be one of my top 100, maybe even top 50 fave films of this century:

Jennifer is not even a real blonde?
Wow. Just. Wow.

She resembles Demi there. If Jennifer is an 8, Demi must be a 12.

Wow??? If that knocks you off your feet, you might want to sit down for this. Nicole Kidman isn't really a blonde either. Natural redhead.

Demi has changed her hair color more than once as well. Last I saw, she was a dirty blonde

Photo of her around age 36 years old!

Like all the ladies, they age quickly after 35. Hollywood has done wonders with makeup these days but their are pictures of her without make up on the internet and she looks her age of middle 40s; maybe a bit older too. She also has several nip and tuck sessions too. But with her Hollywood makeup on she still looks hot! She works out with a personal trainer on a daily basis so her figure is still attractive for her Apple TV+ Morning Show!

The Rock DeWayne Johnson was a wrestler on TV before his movie star fame! And Ballers was afterwards!

Phoebe Cates was quite the looker. 'tis a shame she stopped acting so early. My other fave Phoebe was Halliwell (aka Alyssa Milano) of Charmed. In addition to the outstanding cinematography, she was the best reason to watch that show.

Not seen the new Aniston-Witherspoon show. Showing anywhere other than Apple TV+? I see that it has a very respectable 8.2/10 on IMDb with more than 2600 members voting. Critics reviews:

Its Jennifer Love Hewitt for moi. Followed by Connelly & Garner. Then Anniston.and Lawrence. And cant forget Jenny McCarthy.

Dont get started on Jessicas: Biel, Alba, Simpson, Lowndes, Lucas, Perez and Clement.
I like the way you think. We should have a Jennifers vs Jessica faceoff.

Jennifers
1. Connelly (so much natural beauty)
2. JLove (who didn't have a crush on her??)
3. Lopez (prime, not current. Dat azz)
4. Lawrence (remember the fappening? lol)
5. Aniston (out of respect of the thread)

Jessicas
1. Alba (yes please, terrible actress but I didn't even notice the acting in Dark Angel)
2. Brown-Findlay (miss you Sybil)
3. Lowndes (prob the only reason I watched 90210)
4. Biel (white girl with booty? sign me up)
5. Lucas (I guess Canada does produce something once in a while)

Not many natural blondes in Hollywood.
I never saw Aniston as a blonde, but a brunette, even as her lightest.

Streets Of San Francisco!

As for Jennifer,I'd say easily the best thing she's been in other than friends is Office Space, but I enjoyed stuff like Along Came Polly,The Break-Up,The Good Girl. This new show looks OK,I'll check it out see if Aniston/Witherspoon are worth their $2m price tag...

This is fast turning into another one of these, LOL:

And I'm guessing some of the less famous names here have been active mostly on TV. Had to look up about half of 'em... and you're looking at a cinephile who probably watches over 200 new movies a year! Amazing how there still seems to be fairly little cross-pollination between film and TV.

Fail? Or a late "April fool"?

This is a still from the movie, Cake (2014). Jennifer was made up to look this way (dowdy) for the film. She had stopped working out for a few months to facilitate her weight gain.

I was in "The Break", when i was a teenager. They paid me $75 a day to play tennis and eat (extra in background), where i usually played. Was a dream.

Rae Dawn Chong is one of the most beautiful women i ever met. She didnt look real :) Camera doesnt do her justice

Yep 35 is young especially when these stars have super nutritionists and the best resources to be in shape.
