Jim Courier - new (2005) racquet?

I've just accidentally found a few pictures of Courier here, and was wondering what frame he was using.

I've always thought that he was a Wilson PS 6.0 (85) guy, but in these pictures it's looking like he's either using a newer Wilson, or perhaps even something else. I actually only care if he's using a racquet that is not a Wilson -- I just don't recognize the stencil.

So, does anyone know what that stencil represents?

I'm told that the stencil in question is Stanford Financial's logo. Apparently Courier is using it as consideration for their sponsorship of the senior tour events he's involved with.

There's some disagreement about Courier's racquet. IIRC, he switched when he and Sampras played an exhibition after Pete switched from the Pro Staff 6.0. However, there is some doubt on the board (and when is there not) as to whether he's actually using a new racquet, or whether it's a paintjob of his old PS 6.0 (w/o PWS) mold.

That looks like the 85....I could be wrong, but it sure looks like it. I have seen Jim hit recently and he no longer has the longer throat, so it seems to me he is now hitting with a N 6.1 Tour.

On the Tennis Channel Jim was asked and he said that he was playing with the same frame as Pete, which I have taken to mean the nCode 6.1 95, not the 90. I know that many on this board are fans of the 85" St Vincentn and don't see the need for true players to use anything bigger than a 90 so please forgive my heresy in advance.

Agreed. Back in '05, Courier was still using his PS 6.0 85 but with the red and white nCode 90 paintjob over it. This year, it seems he finally switched to a "real" nCode 90.

Huh? Pete uses a 90, NOT a 95. In fact, Pete uses the exact same racquet as Federer does. He said he called up Wilson and asked them to ship him some racquets from Federer's stockpile and that's what they did. That's why his racquet has the shorter handle pallet and the wider string spacing even though it has the red and white nCode 90 paintjob over it. It's the same racquet that Federer has been using for years except that Federer is now using it with a K90 paintjob over it, but both are the same underneath the paint. I refer to this racquet as a "K90" because I believe it's essentially the same as a retail K90 (with some customization).
