I was wondering what the name of the signature yellow graphite Jimmy Connors' racquet was.
old thread cpr. Does anyone know why Jimmy Swithced? I have a slazenger with the same PWS type things near the throat and at the top of the racket as his Estusa. Did Estusa buy the mold, pj it, or both???
It was the Estusa pro legend classic.
OLD THREAD ALERT!
I think it's better to dig the old ones up instead of always start new threads, it's easier to look one up like that too.
could it be that it was actually a pj of a slazenger phantom 90???, the second "phamtom" slazenger that connors played. the other one that he played wasn't pj'ed, it was a white ceramic midsize model. He was sponsored by slazenger briefly before Estusa.
I have a new estusa pro legend, (the connors one which they falsely marked 97) and a phantom90 (which is barely a 90, more like an 85, but identical to the new estusa pro legend connors model..???) Like they did with Puma, did estusa copy a very unique frame and push an obscure company out of the market???. Oddly slazenger (with its amazing ceramic model and the phantom90 with 3 unique pws like bumps) was never heard form again,
Does anyone have pics of him with the pro legend lite?
