Just saw the racquet in question on the McEnroe Show. John was playing with Olga Petranova? Olga Cutyerbolzov? Olga Slashyernutzoff? Who knows. Some 17 year old russian phenom. Anyway, they were playing on some crap clay court in New York. The racquet looks like a standard Dunlop, but the paint job is pure old school. Try and follow this crummy description: The hoop of the racquet is white on the top half and red on the bottom. The throat is white and the handle is black. I say it's old school because the colors were very muted. The white looked like the white on a old wood racquet, sort of creamy. The red looked quite vintage as well. Not the modern, super-vivid colors you see on most modern racquets. The colors don't fade into each other, and it seemed to have a lacquered finish like the old woodies had. Maybe one of the cats on this site that's into woodies can find a picture of the possible inspiration for this racquet. It looks cool. If it's flexy and heavy like the old wooden bombers I just might have to pick a few up.
