No, I don't have the longer grip MAX200G Pro. Seems Dunlop MAX200G series are your favourite rackets.

Wow! Impressive collection! I don't have MAX Competition and MAX200GT, thanks for sharing the pictures of those rackets to me. Prehaps I have to ask John to acquire the MAX Competition to complete my collection.
Your collection is incredible!
The Max200GT was the prototype of the Max300i. The Max200GT is a Max300i just with a clear coat on the cosmetics and with Max200GT written on it.

No, It is not fake 200G but the last version. The photo shows the MAX500i what has same style graphic paintjob of that latest MAX200G. Possibly, the feels of your MAX200G was different than the others due to the MAX200G came with three different weight (L,LM and M) and balance (30.5-32.0).

sorry to bombard this thread, but i was wondering if either of you - having huge dunlop collections - would have any idea what this racket is?
it reads "POWER MONDIALE" on the throat, and seems to be around the same headsize as my PS85. however ive checked all over the internet and asked at the tennis stores and cant find any information at all !

I too collect the 200G series, and have always wondered about this Snauwaert. Do you know anything else about this racquet, I can see it has grommets and is not IMF, but apart from that is it an exact replica of the 200G?
I have a very similar Snauwaert racquet. It has an identical paint job to yours above, but the frame is slightly diferrent, with a thinner beam and is definitely not 200G mould!!!

I purchased one of these 4 years ago and it was not at all the feel of a Max 200g. Have you played it by any chance??

It does indeed feel different to the older versions!!!
It feels slightly lighter, and is actually slightly stiffer, but there isn't a huge difference
You will notice this most if using say a Medium 200G from say 1984 and then the racquet above, I admit you will then notice a difference!!!

I will say this, I played nothing but Max 200g from 1984-1990/91. I had 11 in all. I still have one. This racquet I purchased felt nothing like the 200g's. tinny, very light, balane....it honestly felt fake.

John indeed played with this Snauwaert MAX200G clone racquet breifly when he was approaching the end of his professional career.
Since he was sponsored by Snauwaert, he continue to play with his favouable MAX200G what has "S" stencil for endorsing Snauwaert,
after awhile he needed a powerful racquet but with the same configuration of MAX200G to improve his game.
Therefore Snauwaert copied the same design / geometry of MAX200G but used the conventional graphite lay-up structure to resolve john's requirement.
(Basically, the conventional graphite lay-up contains longer graphite fibre what contributes the best stiffness conditions than IMF/ Hyusol Grafil fibre injection structure).
Unfortunate, this Snauwaert racquet was abandoned after a few matches due to John felt this racquet lost the same feeling of his long time partner MAX200G.

Thanks for getting back to me. It's great to hear exactly what happened regarding the McEnroe Snauwaert racquet!
The Snauwaert that I have is amazing, as has identical paintjob, even the MCE001 detailing! Yet is quite a different racquet.

I remember John actually using the lovely Estusa Power Beam for a little while - he was using it at one of the Challenge Cup events at the Forum in Los Angeles a few times when I was there and around him. I think it was when Mac put a beat down on Andre right after he had won the Open if my memory isn't failing me. He was around Boris a lot at that time so it might have been a bit of an influence.
